"I have no complaint with the quality of their work. However, as usual with a house built in 1895, the job grew as they worked! A simple gutter replacement turned into a complete Porch roof replacement. Considerably more expensive. I could see the water damage myself so I didnâ  t feel they were being dishonest. "Excellent. This deck hadn't been cleaned in over ten years and had taken a real beating the past couple of years. It was edged in green moss(?) and had black blotches that appeared this winter. It looked to me like soot from somebody's fireplace. Special Construction worked for hours powerwashing, cleaning with detergent, scrubbing, and then powerwashing and rinsing. They wouldn't accept anything less than total quality, and they achieved it. It now looks like new! Terrific job."
