"I RECENTLY HAD MY ATTIC INSULATION REPLACED BY MASTER ATTIC. ALEX CAME OUT RIGHT ON SCHEDULE AND GAVE ME A FAIR PRICE. ( I DID HAVE 4 OTHER ESTIMATES) THE CREW LEAD BY ROBERTO WAS AMAZING. THEY WERE VERY CONSIDERATE, CAREFUL IN MAKING SURE THE AREA WAS SEALED OFF AND WERE VERY CAREFUL OF MY PERSONAL BELONGINGS. THEY DID A GREAT JOB IN REMOVING OLD INSULATION , VACUUMING OUT THE ATTIC ,SPRAYED AREA AND SEALED ANY OPENINGS. BEFORE THEY BROUGHT IN NEW INSULATION, THEY ASKED ME IF I WISHED TO TO VIEW THE ATTIC AND I DID. I WAS AMAZED EVEN AT THIS POINT, HOW CLEANED EVERYTHING LOOKED . (THIS INSULATION HAD BEEN UP THERE FOR 70 YEARS) NEW INSULATION WAS INSTALLED AND IT LOOKS GREAT. THE CREWED CLEANED UP EVERYTHING , EVEN VACUUMED THE AREA IN THE ROOM. ALL BAGS OF OLD INSULATION WERE REMOVED PROMPTLY AND I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE."

"My bathroom remodeling experience was unexpectedly pleasant, and I owe a great deal of gratitude to the guys from Score Construction. I had a rough idea going in of what I wanted my mother's new bathroom to look like, but it was mostly just conjecture and hand-waving, needless to note I'm the type of guy who needs a gal that's mechanically inclined, because I'm far from it. Before starting the project, I had three contractors come and take a look at the bathroom (I also had two contractors who could only give me quotes over the phone, they were cheaper than the quotes I received in person, and I think it's very obvious why). They were all very professional in their conduct, but what set SCORE apart from the rest was their willingness to hear me out. I drew diagrams of what I wanted the bathroom to look like, and SCORE (in particular Janusz, though his partner was commendable as well) took the time to analyze my thoughts line by line. For my wishes that were feasible, they explained exactly how they would accomplish it, and for some of my ideas that were either too expensive or impossible considering the layout of the bathroom, they suggested revisions that were in line with the overall design (her bathroom is roughly 100 sq ft, so there was ample space for design). My only complaint about the other contractors was that they did not respect my ideas enough, not that they were rude in any way, but it felt to me as if the design was already established according to their desires, and it was me that was going to have to come around to their way of thinking. Admittedly, I have no design experience, but this is my project and my money so I figured that the hired hands should be a little understanding when it comes to my wishes. The guys at SCORE were more than understanding, and it showed itself in the final product. Once all the preliminaries were settled, the actual construction began and it was completed in two weeks. They adjusted their work schedule around my availability (if I was free and let them work straight w/o any days off I imagine it would have been done much sooner). They did a very professional job, and I'm very glad to have had such an easygoing remodeling experience. Mum's happy, so I'm happy. -Ali"

"I was dreading this work being done due to the anticipated mess since we had a drywall removed to have insulation blown into our attic. The process went fairly quickly. We also had drywall that was cut in our walls to have old insulation removed and new to be blown in. The crew did a lovely job of making the cuts so getting our drywall fixed afterwards was much more simple. All said and done, it wasn't nearly as unpleasant as I had feared. "This project started w/ my husband & I wanting to change out 3 windows. THREE. We'd gone thru the whole spiel w/ Anderson who wanted to swap out all our windows for an obscene fee. That was NOT what we wanted. After submitting an Angi request, Victory reached out. We set up an appt where they showed us the quality of their windows & also pointed out the poor condition of ours. We were immediately impressed. I'm talking energy efficient, virgin vinyl, break in resistant & MORE. We were sold but concerned about being appvd for financing. I couldn't believe it. Now our windows are beautiful! No more mold. No more decay. No more stuck locks. What a total upgrade! I've never experienced such good service. There are many reasons one bedroom may be hotter than the rest of the house. The sun will quickly heat a south-facing bedroom with a large window, especially if it lacks quality curtains. If the room has poor insulation, this could let more warm outside air in. Upstairs bedrooms are often hotter than ground-floor rooms because heat rises. Finally, rooms further away from the air conditioning unit may heat up a lot if the system is not properly balanced.
It is possible to insulate your walls without removing drywall, but it’s not a good idea to attempt the work yourself. A professional can use blown-in insulation or spray foam insulation to fill wall voids without opening up the walls, and the option they use typically depends on your climate and whether or not there’s insulation in your wall already that can remain in place. Spray foam insulation doesn’t do well around heat sources. Therefore, You can use spray foam insulation to seal around HVAC boots that penetrate through the drywalls or around where wrapped ducts connect to the boots, but we don’t recommend using spray foam insulation to encapsulate your air ducts. Spray foam insulation on air ducts is also less effective compared to duct wraps.
