"I had two quotes from other companies. The reason I chose Rock Hard Concrete is that Wayne came up with a great solution to a problem unique to our job. We wanted a patio in the back of the house that was in close proximity to our bilco doors for the basement. I was concerned that if the patio was too close to the does that in heavier rains, the patio run off might cause water to come in the basement. He offered to remove the bilco doors and raise the stairs 8 inches (one course of block) and have the patio surround the doors. The bottom of the doors are now 3 inches above the patio and we haven't had any water enter the basement. Our job also required to remove and replace 80 feet of driveway and well over 130 feet of sidewalk/ walkway. Quoted price was what we paid. Very easy to talk to and answered all our questions throughout the job. Communicated when they would return. Total job was complete in 4 weeks beginning to end with some weather delays."

The project also entailed demolition of our existing concrete porch, replacing it, adding a new front patio, and tying the porch and patio work into the new driveway. Joe Pellicore met with us and gave us estimates for the entire project, along with breaking down the project into its component parts with estimates for each. We went with the entire project. Joe worked with us on dates for the project, which ended up taking 4 days. "Scott and his crew were flat out amazing from start to finish.  When we got the estimate, Scott showed up with all his papers of insurance and certificates for us to keep and pictures of previous jobs that they have done.  The crew arrived  the day that they said they would, and when they started, they didn't stop!  They removed our old cracked concrete patio that water would just run to the back door of our house and would have us standing there in fear every time it rained hard and installed a breath taking paver patio with two retaining walls will drainage behind it to divert the water over to the side of the house.  The whole time throughout the project Scott would keep us updated with what was going on and when to expect certain things to be done. The crew was very professional and cleaned up at the end of everyday so there was nothing laying around that you could trip over.  Once they we're all done, the clean up was just as amazing as the job on the patio was.  The amount of dirt that was in our yard, you would never know was there, as they got all of it out and seeded and put straw down.   Our  neighbors are just blown away by the transformation of our backyard and how hard the crew worked.  From what our backyard looked like before to what it is now, words just don't do it justice, as they have given us a place to entertain for years to come!!  Needless to say, we are customers for life and wouldn't even bother looking for anyone else to do work in the future!
