"TRAV replaced the backsplash of my kitchen and repainted all my kitchen cabinets, and they also helped me with adding an electrical switch. They deliver a high quality service and have fair prices. I recommend their service."

"I had multiple leaks in different areas and me and the wife have decided to go ahead and get couple of quotes on Angi . Campbell was Amazing , he answered all of our questions and had a lot of patience . Out of 3 bids I decided hiring Overstate and they did a fatalistic job replacing my 20 year old roof . Campbell did such a good impression on the house next by which I think he will be doing their roof as well ."

"I contacted JA drywall to work on some popcorn ceilings for me. Josh was very responsive and arrived on time to give me an estimate. To his credit, he did inform me that his estimate would probably be higher than other estimates I would receive. I decided to go with Josh because I felt he was honest, how he communicated with me and because he was available via telephone. Unlike other drywall contractors, who did not show up or were very flaky with the communication. Josh started the work on time and finished when he said he would be complete. Josh did a great job with my ceilings. The drywall was installed, taped, and sanded. I was very impressed with the work they did and I would absolutely hire him again. If you’re looking for drywall to be completed, Contact Josh and then call other companies and you’ll see the difference in communication. A+ in my book."

Popcorn Ceilings questions, answered by experts

Although texturing walls may not seem like a lengthy project, you’ll need to set aside between one and five days to complete it properly. The exact amount will depend on the scope of your project—one room will take less than a whole-house project. That will give you enough time for tasks that are time-consuming in and of themselves, like taping wall edges, priming the walls and letting them dry fully, and actually applying the texture and top or base paint coats.

As stylish new design options become more popular, modern drop ceiling designs also include metal tiles of tin and copper, which can create a dark, moody atmosphere in your basement bar, home theater, or game room. There are also a variety of modern lighting ideas for drop ceilings, including recessed and surface mount lights.

Professionals handle heavy lifting, proper disposal, and recycling, reducing environmental impact.

Professionals use spraying or painting machines for application, skimming and filling for repairs, or specialized scraping techniques for safe removal.

No, not all popcorn ceilings have asbestos, but a vast majority do. The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) banned its use in 1973, although it still may have been used up through the early ‘90s. But, in general, homes built or remodeled before the early ‘80s likely utilized materials with asbestos. That being said, a professional test is the only way to determine for sure.
