"Blue Leaf absolutely knocked it out of the park. From start to finish- they were incredibly courteous and absolutely professional. Their communication is as top notch as their lawn care service. I already can’t wait for my next cut in two weeks. Thank you again, guys!"

"Very pleased with the service. The owner, Chris, went out of his way to answer all of my inquiries with detailed explanations and suggestions. He also made sure, every step of the way, that the job was done to my satisfaction. And it was! Punctual. Professional. Office staff were courteous and efficient. Alex, who prepared proposals for all of the work, was professional and efficient. He also had an uncanny eye for detail, and picked out some things that my contractor had missed. So glad I had Sir Grout do this work to preserve my new ceramic floors and shower, and to provide some much needed restoration to two older showers that were showing some serious wear and tear. Excellent, competitive pricing. This company aims to please. I strongly recommend Sir Grout of Manasquan."

He did mention gutter whitening would be extra, wich i thought in my head was anothe way to nickle and dime me, but he cleaned & restored them so well they looked like brand new gutters, saved me $$$ from spending on getting them painted. thank you!"

"I was thoroughly impressed with Jose (Exclusive Drywall). I can’t begin to say how many phone calls I made trying to find someone who could come immediately and no one was available or price convenient. He came in on the same day I called and all I can say is WOW! My ceiling was completed in less then a week and he did a great job. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend his services. GREAT JOB"

Sandblasting Services FAQs, answered by experts

Soda-blasting systems are slightly more expensive than sandblasting systems. To soda blast, you’ll need to spend a few hundred dollars for a blast hose and nozzle, a compressed air supply, a blast generator, a moisture decontamination system, and sodium bicarbonate media, a recurring cost because the powder is not reusable. To start with sandblasting, you will need to spend upwards of $30 for a blast pot, a blast gun, an air compressor, and sandblasting media, many of which are recyclable—further reducing the cost. The total cost for either will depend on the size of the system.

Costs depend on paint type, surface condition, labor, and required prep work for repainting.

Yes, many professionals use dustless or water-based blasting methods for reduced environmental impact.

The best way to sand a deck is by cleaning it, sanding the boards and stairs with 60- or 80-grit sandpaper, and sanding the railings and posts with 80-grit sandpaper. You should sand in the direction of the wood grain to avoid damaging the timber. When sanding your deck, use medium pressure and aim for an even sand. Pressing too hard with a sander can damage decks, as most are softwoods.

Sandblasting is useful when you need to strip material off a hard surface. Common reasons to sandblast are to remove paint, rust, or get a surface ready for a new material. You aren’t limited to surfaces like walls either—you can sandblast rusted tools, bicycle frames, cement, bricks, and many others. If what you’re sandblasting is still structurally sound, sandblasting can be a fast and inexpensive way to revive the original material.
