"I couldn t be happier with the service from Mikula contracting. Multiple times the owner came out to my house and gave me guidance on what I should do and made it very helpful. "The lights look amazing. Conti Landscaping did an excellent job, and I couldn't be happier with their exceptional service. They were not only punctual but also displayed a high level of professionalism throughout the entire process. What impressed me the most was their attentiveness to my preferences â they listened carefully and executed the job exactly as I envisioned. My holiday landscape looks stunning, thanks to their outstanding work. Highly recommend!"

"The work was fantastic! Craig's team did the entire job in about 3 weeks time and there was a lot to do. We regraded our backyard as it has dips and valleys that caused large pools of water to form. He then added on a 600sq ft patio, stepping stones, gravel in our side yard landing, added sculpted beds to the outer edges, planted privacy and cherry trees and put in drainage from our home to the yard to help with any excess water issues. I can't say enough about how wonderfully the work turned out. We love our backyard!"

"I can’t speak highly enough of the job and the experience. The workmanship of the retaining wall was exceptional - beautiful beyond even what I expected. The team was great while on site - I actually had another mason stop by for something else and tell me what a great job they were doing putting plastic down, keeping thing tidy, etc. when it was time to go they went above and beyond clearing unwanted foliage and taking away some extra stone. Fantastic experience."

Land Clearing Services questions, answered by experts

A boundary survey measures the boundary lines of the property, only the length of each property line and their locations. A land survey includes a more in-depth measurement of the property, including the heights and depths of the terrain measured by a topographic survey. A boundary survey is typically the most cost-effective method for marking and measuring property lines.

Costs vary, but you can expect to spend between $1,000 and $4,000 to prepare land for a mobile home or before you build a house. You’ll need to clear enough land for the foundation, which may require leveling or grading, as well as removing trees, stumps, and plants. Don’t forget to plan for permits and fees and the installation of a gas line, water line, and sewer main.

Surveys completed by licensed surveyors can be recorded with a local surveying records office, and in most cases, they will be. Filing survey reports categorize them as legal documents, and they can be used whenever legal documentation of your property’s boundaries is needed. While you’re not required to file survey documents, it’s a good idea to do so.

Property lines, building locations, and potential encroachments are mapped.

Yes, new home construction will always require building permits, no matter where you live. In most cases, you’ll need a general construction permit, along with plumbing and electrical permits for the utility lines in your home. Depending on where you live, you’ll likely find that you also need permits for things like connection to a sewage system or installing exterior components, like decks, driveways, patios, and curb cutouts. Leave navigating the permits required for new home construction to a professional to ensure your home is built legally and safely.
