"Windows were delayed from the original December installation to March (supply chain issue). Then, I was contacted by Power agent via phone to move up install date since windows had arrived earlier than expected. They said they would call the night before to confirm but then did not. I received a call from them on the morning of installation saying that someone had called in sick so it would need to be rescheduled. Luckily, I was off the entire week and they were able to schedule the install a couple days later (at my convenience). If I had taken a day off for the install, this would have been a problem rescheduling.. The lead worker and his assistant were very nice and professional when they arrived promptly at 8am on the rescheduled date. They laid down drop cloths and were able to answer my questions."

"Ackerman Exteriors replaced the 45-year-old wood siding on a custom rural house, built in 1980, with vinyl siding. Included in the job were some window and door replacements, gutter installs, and other improvements to the house to address issues I had made note of over a decade of ownership. The guys did great work. The house is immeasurably better in every way, and the updates proved their worth this winter. During the lead-up and during the work, they listened to concerns and ideas, and made actionable proposals in response. After the project was finished, they followed up to ensure that everything was to my satisfaction. There were schedule slippages and material delivery delays, which is all par for the course, especially in 2025. They were communicative about the delays, and able to reorder the work accordingly. They went above and beyond to accommodate some special requests, like installing a commercial dehumidifier and finishing the walls of the storage closet, which were not part of the original scope, which greatly enhanced the finished look. We had a great experience working with Evan, Mike, and Matt (the initial estimator), as well as Inmer (finishes and framing), Eddie (painter), and the electrician. Despite minor miscommunications leading to necessary changes, they promptly addressed our concerns, sending someone immediately or the following day to resolve issues. "This is the second time I use Vaillancourt Roofing, and they have always been exceptionally professional. Brad Entrekin, the salesperson I have always dealt with is wonderful: knowledgeable, patient, punctual. So have been the team that does the work. In this specific case, Nick and Jay did the installation of the gutters. Their work is impeccable. They are very respectful yet friendly. If I was doing gutters I would do all possible to get the Nick and Jay tea However, in order to reach them you would have to go through the scheduler. I understand that the schedule is necessary in order to make the best use of the resources possible however, that has to be tempered with the needs of the client. Case on point, day before the installation date I was informed that the installation had been cancelled "because one of the installers was sick" and the work was rescheduled for 12 days later. I spoke to the scheduler and he had no interest in whether I would be available, convenience or any other consideration of what the effect of the change could have on MY schedule. I just had to understand that people get sick. That is - an administrative problem of the company was suddenly on my shoulders. This gentleman is extremely rigid and unsympathetic. Chances are that the job could not be done before but a gentler approach with the client will take him a long way. In addition, his attitude really erodes the exceptional work of the field salespeople. It is then left on the shoulders of the installers, to fix with the client what the installer undid. Once again, Vaillancourt has, in my estimation, first class materials to offer, a splendid salesperson in Brad, and an impeccable installation team with Nick and Jay. So, go for it. More likely than not, you will not have to deal with the scheduler."
