I have also worked as a fireman, and rock climbing guide, a painter, and a cobbler. I enjoy using really big saws (of all kinds, chainsaws included) and working with big pieces of timber. "Estimator was prompt and sent quote in a timely fashion. The owner, Barbara, was very easy to talk with and very knowledgeable.
However, the job was performed by one painter on ladders. This was a bit disturbing to me as I felt the safest method to perform this work would have been with staging. That being said, the results of the painting was satisfactory, but there were a number of items that left me unhappy. There were a number of plants that were destroyed or damaged because of the lack of attention to where the ladders' 'feet' were placed. The original quote called for bottom clapboards to be replaced around the house as needed, and many cracked boards were painted over and left on the house. I had contracted for the two remaining wooden windows on the house, and the garage door trim to be painted and was disappointed when the two attic vent windows, which  were obviously in need of paint,  were not  mentioned by the painter. Again, I believe that someone who is painting a structure and wants that job to have a finished and professional look, should have noticed and asked about this situation. I would have been more than willing to have the quote adjusted to have this work added to the job.
I am not a painter and perhaps I am being overly critical, but my review is to warn potential customers that they obviously need to be less dependant on this painting company to notice what I feel to be obvious and easily addressed issues."

"Richard and his team at NE Renovations really helped us out on this one!  We had some projects that I could not finish in time for my wife's baby shower including: hanging new solid 6 panel doors, kitchen painting, kitchen trim work, and cabinet modifications.  Richard was able to get it all done within 24 hours of me calling (begging!) for help!  He was also able to finish the nursery which I did not have the time for.  Everything looked great for our house full of guests, and all were impressed with the quality of work.  Next on Richard's list for us is an office for me; I would not consider using anyone other than NE Renovations."
