After contacting Jim that he had the job, work began promptly. Dealt first with Dave and Dick, who took expertly care of our drainage. These two are excellent to deal with, explaining everything they would be doing and checking in before leaving. Within short order things had dried up where paving could begin. When things were dry, the JY crew paved everything in a day, paying attention to the little details to assure that we shouldn't deal with a drainage problem again. The driveway looks amazing. "This was a complex project with a lot of moving parts.
Several thousand square feet of patio, complicated pool coping and a significant amount of reconstruction. The land I gave Carl to work with was ugly and unstable.
I give Carl an A for time and price because of the value he brings to the table. Not because he's the cheapest or the fastest sprinter.
Some significant challenges materialized over the course of the job that added time and cost to the project. The great thing is Carl rolled with the punches, reacted fast, didn't compromise quality, and never asked for more money.
This was not an easy piece of land to work with. A 40 year old pool patio on shaky foundations.
His foreman/mason Eddie is the only person I trust to do anymore work on my hardscape/landscape. His ability, attention to detail and work ethic is unquestionable.
Carl brings 30 years of experience to the table; great design ideas, flexibility, problem solving, vision..........value!!
Additionally, Carl has a fantastic network of partners that are just as reliable.

"Mr. Dolloff was prompt in his response to our inquiry into landscaping projects we were considering. He gave us a free estimate on several projects. The cost seemed very fair and we had him complete a quarter of the entire project ~ grooming a hillside with severe erosion and creating a parking area for 2 cars. The hillside is beautiful. Exactly what we wanted and better than we expected. The parking area was not what I would call satisfactory. But in all honesty, they completed both jobs on time but unfortunately it was just the day before we got all that heavy rain the weekend of October 21st. We are planning for him to complete the other landscaping we need down and he offered to clean up the parking area as soon as the weather settles down."
