"Nick was easy to work with. He moved his schedule around to accommodate my plans over a holiday. When he got here he discovered that the ceiling was more textured than he expected. "We hired Adam to convert our single-car garage into a bonus room (framing, drywall, electrical, flooring, moved a gas line, rerouted the hose spigot, and replaced the garage door with a slider). The quality is fantastic. I’d recommend him to anyone. What really stood out: Adam cared about the details. I had a rough vision, but when we hit decisions I hadn’t thought through, he’d flag it and, if I didn’t have a strong preference, steer me toward the right choice. He had a real vision for how it should look, not just doing the bare minimum or blindly following directions. The other thing was how clean he and any of his crew kept their workspace. Many homeowners choose to install tongue and groove over drywall. The great thing about this type of ceiling is that it hides imperfections. If your drywall is a little bit wonky or has some minor damage, the tongue and groove planks should cover it and give it an even appearance. If your home’s foundation shifts slightly over time, any seams in the drywall represent the weakest point in the wall, leading to cracks. If your home has significant changes in temperature and humidity, this can cause the drywall to swell and contract slightly, causing a crack at the weak point of the seam. If your drywall installer did a poor job securing the panels to the wall studs, this could cause a weak layout and cracks in the seams.

There are several benefits to wet-sanding drywall, but the main perk is that it produces far less dust than dry-sanding. As a result, wet-sanding poses fewer health risks and makes less of a mess in your home.
