"I cannot say enough great things about Maverick Electric! From start to finish, the entire experience is always outstanding. We have worked with them on a few projects now and every time is a home run. They recently completed some work at our store in Salem, NH 10/10 job. Lee, Sean, and Jake were absolutely phenomenal to work with. They were professional, knowledgeable, punctual, and took tremendous pride in their work. It is clear that Lee the owners of Maverick Electric has built an incredible team of employees who truly care about their customers and the quality of their workmanship. They communicated clearly throughout the entire process, answered every question I had, and made sure everything was completed to perfection. The work was clean, efficient, and exceeded my expectations. It is rare these days to find a company that delivers this level of customer service and professionalism. If you are looking for an electrician you can trust completely, I highly recommend!"

"Frank and his team were very easy to work with and did a great job. I was able to expand the scope of the job from drywall repair to also prime and paint the area. It was a challenging area with holes that really needed help. He was able to quickly repair and come back and paint for me. As a result of that job, I had Frank also help me with a bathroom paint job and replacing a faucet. I highly recommend Frank for future paint, drywall and rehab for internal house jobs. He has a lot of skills."

Bathroom Fan Installation questions, answered by experts

For a 12x12 room, a fan between 36" and 50" will work, as it falls in the range for spaces up to 144 square feet. These size fans provide adequate air circulation and ensure a comfortable environment without being overpowering. Even better, they come in a broad range of styles, offering aesthetics and functionality, making them suitable choices for maintaining an ideal room temperature and enhancing overall comfort.

As a general rule of thumb, clean your fans whenever you tidy up the home. Fans benefit greatly from a light weekly cleaning and a deep cleaning at the start of each season. If it’s been a while since you touched up the fans with oscillating blades, start with the deep cleaning before moving on to the lighter touch-ups. If you’re unsure when to clean fans and other parts of the home, learn how often you should clean your home.

Most duct booster fans are not designed to run continuously, though some models can be programmed for constant operation. Typically, they are controlled by the user via a switch, controls on the unit itself, or by being wired to the HVAC system's thermostat. Wiring the fan to a thermostat allows it to run automatically only when heating or cooling is active, which saves energy and is an effective way to activate the fan only when needed to address issues like uneven room temperatures.

Yes, you can oil an electric fan with machine or motor oil but don’t use cooking oil because it can become thick or seize up, damaging the fan. Before oiling your fan, turn it off and remove any dust and debris. Wipe away any excess lubricant after oiling.

Yes, you can lubricate a ceiling fan without taking it apart. Ensure the fan is off and clean any dust around the motor area before lubricating. Apply several drops of machine oil to the top of the motor housing where the shaft enters or via the oil ports if available. Regular lubrication helps maintain smooth operation and reduces noise. If your fan lacks an accessible oil port, it may require disassembly or professional maintenance.
