"The work started a bit late but it was well worth the wait. They removed the asphalt from my patio and put pavers down. It looks beautiful! I highly recommend them. They know what they are doing and did a great job. Quite professional. We may have them pave our driveway as well."

"He cam out and was very nice. gathered all the information need to provide us with a quote. It has been over 30days and we still have not recived a bid back from them. I have contact him a couple of times and never heard back. This was very frustrating, so we have chosen to go with another contractor."

"They took a long time to complete the project. We asked them to come back to add more peastone to the area and also to fix an area that needed to be corrected (not their fault). The owner agreed to return that week but he never did. The landscaping looks nice but I have reservations on their follow-through."

"It was not a great experience. One of their product tended to have died and yet it cost me quite a bit to have it installed. I only used them to do the initial landscaping because they were partners with the developer so I have not used their services since but I do know that other neighbors of mine who have used their services after I moved in they have the same experience where things that were planted died not long after. Best part was they worked with me on designing a landscaping solution that my needs as far as maintenance and cost but I would say the worse part was just the quality of the landscaping that they installed, it just seemed very susceptible to either disease or dying."

Water Feature - Install a Fountain or Waterfall

Serving Hampstead, NH and surrounding areas

In business since 2003

At Executive Landscape & Irrigation we are your source for all your landscaping, irrigation, and exterior design needs. You will receive complete landscaping design and installation, every landscape project is professionally designed. Digital pictures are taken at every property to ensure the proper plants are used in the design. \n \nWe rake out every new lawn using the proper equipment for every job. A york rake or a rock hound is used first to rake out the loam. The loam is then hand raked to ensure that all the angulations are taken out. Last in the process we use an all perennial landscape mix seed with liquid lime, starter fertilizer, tacking agent, and mulch. For sod, we spread lime and starter fertilizer before it is lain down to ensure proper growth. \n \nOur Nursery vendors deal with quality growers. All of the plants we install are handpicked, and each is planted with the proper amendments. Planting beds are mulched to assist with proper growth. \n

Fountains FAQs, answered by experts

Smaller, pondless water features like bird baths, self-contained fountains, and bubbling rocks are much lower maintenance than their counterparts that include ponds. Pondless features help you avoid high pond maintenance costs and allow you to spend more time enjoying the water feature and less time on upkeep.

Yes, natural pools can get algae since they use the same filtration processes as lakes or streams. However, you can reduce the risk of algae by adding more algae-fighting plants and not installing your natural swimming pool in direct sunlight, as it promotes algae growth.

Yes, it’s possible to DIY a plunge pool and shave labor costs off of the project total. If you’re considering a DIY build, keep in mind that you will be responsible for pool installation and landscaping (which may require excavation). This type of DIY project is best left to particularly handy homeowners who have prior pool installation experience.

When deciding whether or not to turn off your pump, you should consider your area’s climate and the aquatic life in your pond. If you live in an area with freezing winter temperatures and don’t have any wildlife, keeping your pump on could damage it. If you have aquatic life but live in a colder climate, you might consider keeping your pump running and adding a pond heater.

In short, yes, a pond can add to your home’s value. However, whether it adds value will depend on the condition and aesthetic of your pond. Having this feature already built into a yard’s home can be appealing to homebuyers who value its aesthetic and would prefer not to build it themselves. But if it is not kept in good condition, it could turn buyers away.
