"We put off doing this project for a long time because it was a major renovation and we were worried about making the right decisions.  We were fortunate to find Todd because his combination of experience and professionalism was exactly what we were hoping for.  Todd was great to work with!  He had good ideas, helped guide us to make kitchen design choices, and asked for our input on every aspect of the project. Prep areas with plastic walls to contain dust as best as possible, move appliances, remove existing cabinets and countertops, take down existing drywall to the studs and down to strapping on ceiling , remove existing floor tiles , install new patio door and window, insulate walls, hang drywall, tape and mud or plaster walls and ceiling, create new openings in wall between kitchen and front room and wall at foot of stairs, prime ceiling and walls, install new cabinets, install new window and door trim,
install new tile floor, install tile backsplash, remove all debris, be on site when inspector comes to sign off on different phases of job.

"Don is by far the best contractor with whom we have ever worked. We have a history of bad experiences with other contractors over the years in NH, particularly around communication—not showing up when they say that would, not hearing anything for days, not returning calls, and having the final steps drawn out for extended periods. Don, on the other hand, was very calm, reliable (very important for me), competent and accommodating during the stress of living with construction for several weeks while trying also to maintain COVID isolation. Under these conditions, we could not have asked for a better, more organized or competent contractor. He always followed through, kept us informed when issues arose, and was easy to communicate with, as the project extended for several weeks. Don scheduled his time so that he could focus on our project and get it done according to the plan. He worked with us around delays that were not his fault—at one point we had to quarantine when our grandson was exposed, and twice the granite countertops we ordered were broken delaying the final installation. Although these were not Don’s fault, he went out of his way to minimize the delay when the work would be finalized. Don and his crew were quiet, cleaned up after each day, easy to communicate with and competent. Don also accommodated a couple of small, extra projects that emerged as we saw what the new addition would look like. I cannot recommend Handyman911 high enough. We are already planning to have him back for some other work when we return to NH next summer."

When he came to do the free quote he unclogged the toilet and scheduled my vanity installation for just a couple days later. Very knowledgeable and prices are affordable. Will continue to Call SOS for all our plumbing needs."

"Company did a good job last summer with 3 bay windows, so I called them back when the rest of the windows in the house needed to be replaced. On the initial visit, I told the rep that I wanted the same windows as last year. He quickly found the job order and picked up the details of the window make/model/etc without any need for me to reinvent the order. The company had the opportunity to try to upsell me, as I asked them about replacement of the skylight in the bathroom. Refreshingly, they declined to do so and told me that it would be much better to wait until we needed to get the roof re-done, and to do the window at that time. As before, the first guy clearly explained the process: guy 1 to take the order and measure the windows, later follow-up visit from guy 2 to remeasure all the windows carefully before ordering their construction, and then a couple of months later, a follow-up call from their HQ to schedule the install. He gave me an approximate window for this scheduling call. It was a pretty broad time-frame because there had been an unusually large number of people needing custom windows. As before, everything went off exactly as the rep indicated. The install team showed up within a half-hour of the estimated time, and installed 11 windows without taking a break. They removed every scrap of rubbish, vacuumed thoroughly, and left the place as clean as it was when they arrived."

"Our roof started leaking during a big storm, so we called several roofing companies to come look at what was wrong and provide an estimate. Milliard Roofing responded quickly and Bob came out within a day to have a look on the roof. He took pictures of the problem areas so that I could understand what he needed to do. He then came soon after to do all the work in one afternoon and a short time the next morning. My only complaint was that they require 50% payment before they do the work, but they don't take credit cards. Since there was so little time between receiving the estimate and actually having them come to see the work, the only way to  get the payment to them was to wire it, which meant incurring an extra $20 charge from our bank. If they accepted credit cards, or were willing to accept the deposit check when they arrived, I wouldn't have any complaints. Great to work with otherwise!

"Pacific Stone did a nice job. Person in charge of scheduling measurements and installation was pleasant and courteous. Within a few days of my inquiry they came out to my house to take measurements and they brought samples to choose from. Installation was done within a few weeks after that. Took away the old countertops and sinks. They know what they're doing. One of the installers was actually the owner and they were prompt and professional and cleaned up well."
