Groundwater used to flow through the cellar after heavy rains so we'll see it the subsurface floor drain works. The floor looks good, the price was right (lowest of three bids) and Beth was very helpful and available to answer all my questions. At the moment, I'm very happy."

After receiving the estimates, I contacted Morton and asked how soon could they get started? “Next week, and we should be done in a couple days.” They did have to put me off for one day, but they completed the job in 2 days, cleaned up the work area, and did an excellent job. They kept me informed of the project every step of the way including when they were finding some damaged pipes under ground that we were not aware of. It reminded me of the type of contractors from home where I grew up in the South that were not out for the money but instead were in the business because they like the work and they love helping people accomplish their dream landscapes."

"Took waaaay to long. 6 months, albeit, we started in late November but it was the nicest winter in history. Promise was late February for completion. I finally conceded in June that they had finally met all contractual obligations. There were several reasons it took so long from my point of view: not showing up when they say they are, poor workmanship requiring lots of rework (all caught by me, not the so called Project Manager), no dedicated project manager, unclear instructions/requirements flowed down to the contractors sent to do the work, company too focused on the next jobs instead of completing this one, etc..I could go on and on...Damaged my driveway and blamed the driveway even though I asked upfront if there would be any harm to it. "No we do this all the time" was the response. Damaged my neighbors lawn and I'm still fixing that. Overall, a bad experience. I'd rate them a "D" but they did eventually fix most of the quality problems. The rest I have, or will take care of. Cutting the ties with this contractor. Would not recommend."
