He was very professional, reliable and all of sudden everything stopped, non communication.

Mark came to my house and gave me a text quote to stain my deck. After meeting with a few other contractors, I hired Mark 9/7/23. He collected a 50% deposit of $1,050 and confirmed he would be starting the job soon. He even confirmed a few times the night before he'd be there the next day. Mark never showed. After multiple back and forth texts, I texted him 10/4, 10/9, 10/13 with no response and finally asked for my deposit back. I haven't heard from Mark or received my deposit. I have screenshots of the Venmo transfer and text message that I am happy to share. Mark basically stole my deposit, ghosted me, and I do not believe he had any intention of my completing the deck staining project. Would not recommend this company as this is really shady and dishonest behavior.. and that is putting it nicely.

Explained everything thoroughly and resolved existing structural issues with the deck. Took the time to explain the process and answer questions. We are very pleased with the quality in the workmanship of our project. We highly recommend, and will use them for future decking projects.

Mark put a new railing on my deck. He did a great job. It looks beautiful and it is extremely sturdy which was very important to me because I have 4 grandsons. He always called or texted me if there was a change in the timing of the job. He always showed up when he said he would. He was very knowledgeable about decks and many other things. To give some background, my handicapped brother who lives in a mobile home had no toilet for well over a year because plumbers we called to quote, would not bid cause (they just don't like servicing mobile homes). Mark the Handyman contacted me immediately after I posted my project (on a holiday) and completed my plumbing problem within 3 hours of contact. I cannot thank him enough for all he has done for my family today (my mom cried when I told her what Mark accomplished today). I live several hours out of town and care for both my elderly mom and brother and I know I can count on Mark the Handyman to get the job done for the next maintenance or emergency need that arises.

I submitted the repair request Thanksgiving evening and they called me back within minutes and scheduled for Friday morning 8:30am. They were at my door at 8:30 on the dot and had the issue fixed within 10 minutes. Very reasonable price as well. Iâ m very happy with my experience and would absolutely use them again. Highly recommend!

They came at the time they cited and set right to work. They had all the tools they needed for the work, ladders, etc. All around, a professional performance.

Very nice guy handled work easily

Amazingly quick take a look at the job, was on the job at 7:30 the day after he visited to give me the quote which was two days after we first spoke. The work looks beautiful and heâ s terrific about sending pictures heâ s taking as he works. Could not be happier!

These guys were very fast hard workers and very wonderful to work with! Definitely will hire them again!!!

He Came and Gave us an estimate to repair our front porch. We said yes and asked if he could start the project a few weeks out. The agreed day came and he didn?t show, I reached out and he claimed he got his days mixed up. The night before the next day he was to come out he reached out and said the material was not in stock and he could order some etc etc and it would come between said dates. I had to reach out days after those dates passed and he claimed right then and there he was on his way to check and he?d keep me informed. I had to reach out again. The material didn?t come in?? We picked something up else and he gave us a date when he?d come to do the work. Days prior to that day I confirmed and he responded. We even talked about how to exchange the deposit. Day of job, No show. He ghosted us. I text him and got zero response.

During a high heat index in July Scott, the painter, arrived in a timely manner and dutifully performed the work of scraping, priming and painting a large deck which, during late morning and all afternoon, is bathed in direct sunshine. Mark and Scott, The Handyman painters, responded professionally to all of my concerns in a timely manner.
