Uncompromising quality and integrity in all of your precious metals purchases and sales. Specializing in gold & silver bullion. Avoid gold and silver retailers selling you their inventory at high premiums! We pay top prices for jewelry, sterling, diamonds and watches! Fisher Precious Metals is a national gold and silver dealer. Listed as a national dealer with the United States Mint, Fisher Precious Metals is a trusted resource for gold and silver coins and bars. Established in 1995, the firm works with individuals on all issues related to buying and selling physical precious metals, storage, security, estate liquidation and long-term exit strategies. John Fisher, the President, is an ICTA Board Member and is approved by the State of Florida to teach Continuing Education courses on precious metals investing to CFP's, CPA's, attorneys and insurance professionals. In addition, John is a frequent guest on various financial radio broadcast programs. Fisher Precious Metals is an A+ rated Accredited Business with the Better Business Bureau.

"It went great! We found Fisher Precious Metals on Angie's List, and after googling them, we found they had very positive reviews across the web. Although it was a 45 minute drive from our home, we felt it might be worth it, and it was. We made an appointment with John via email, arrived at 11:00, and spent just over an hour in his office. He evaluated the sterling silver set we had to sell and gave us what we felt was a very fair price. He'd given us an estimate on the value of the gold coins via email, and although the price of gold had fluctuated since he'd provided the quote, the final price was very, very close to the initial quote. We were happy to learn that they will also buy jewelry, as I have a few pieces I haven't worn in a very long time. We were very pleased with the entire experience and will definitely return to their company when we have gold or silver to sell, and we're happy to recommend them to our friends. One thing to keep in mind is that sterling silver sets are basically worth the price of the silver itself. We knew that going in, so we were not disappointed and, in fact, the price we received was a little higher than we'd expected."

We specialize in the sale of fine antiques through high end auctions and estate sales. Additional DBA: George & Co Estate Sales, George & Co Gold & Sterling Buyers, & George Costopulos Antiques Auctioneers. GEORGE COSTOPULOS 339 - 227 - 7085 EMAIL [email protected] web site http://georgecoestatesales.com

"I hired George to sell the contents of my aunts estate because he was the most professional and knowledgeable of all the the estate sale companies and numerous dealers who I interviewed, . My aunt's estate had many quality antiques, jewelry, and household furnishing and I wanted the right company that would know what these items were worth and would have the following to get good prices. In the course of my research I found that George had been in the estate sale & antiques auction business for over 30 years and came highly recommended on many levels. He was written up in the Boston Globe antique section on many occasions and the national antiques paper "the arts and antiques weekly". I felt, at this point with such a wide experence in selling fine antiques and household items George would be the right estate company. He came to my aunt’s estate and went threw everything and found items that I thought were junk and I had planed to through away. Thank goodness he had the knowlege to recognize their value because he got a lot of money for these items. After George looked at everything, he photographed all the pieces that he thought would attract buyers to the sale and made a page on his website dedicated to my sale and it came out beautifully. He sent out over 2000 emails from his list of people who had attended and purchased items from pervious estate sales and auctions and also advertised on estate sale .org, which send out over 12,000 emails. He also advertised on Craig’s list. Prior to the sale he came to my aunts home and organized everything and set up jewelry cases with lights and by time he was finished the place looked like a show room. He schedule the sale on Saturday from 9am to about 2pm. The day of the sale there was over 100 people waiting outside. It was a bit chaotic at first but George and his crew handled the crowd with ease. After the sale, George explained that letting the whole crowd in, is a good strategy because it creates a buying pressure. He said people feel other people are looking over there shoulder wanting to buy the item they are looking at so they pay the price that George wants and everything goes very quickly. He also said that the people who come early have all the big money and are highly motivated to buy. Sounds complicated but he was right. George had five workers besides himself and they were very helpful and curtious, bring furniture and other items to peoples cars. The sale has a steady flow of people after the hectic first 2 hours with people buying items all day long and by the time he was finished most everything was gone and he made us a pile of money. I was so thankful we hired george to do this sale. Everything went perfectly without a hitch as he predicted. He is truly a professional and I have recommended him several times."

Antiques and Jewelry Appraisals questions, answered by experts

Whether a scullery is worth it depends on how much you like to cook and entertain. If you frequently host gatherings—a scullery is likely worth the money. If you’re looking for ROI, it’s not so clear. It may not add significant value to your home, as it doesn’t increase square footage and may repurpose space that a buyer would have preferred to remain as-is (like a laundry room).

If you can’t find any records online, you’ll need to contact your county clerk’s office to do further research. They should have property records on file, or can at least point you in the right direction of who to contact. You can also speak with your neighbors about when their houses were built because they were likely built around the same time.

The cost ranges from $300 to $500, depending on the property's size and location. Due to their complexity, commercial appraisals may cost more.

Yes, home appraisers look at your windows when appraising your property to determine the market value of your home. They’ll factor in the type of windows, quality, condition, whether or not there are screens covering the windows, frame materials, size, insulation, and more to come up with an unbiased property assessment.

In most cases, selling a home in as-is condition will lead to a sale price that’s somewhere between 10% and 30% lower than normal. However, it’s often worthwhile to sell at a loss because the alternative would be to pay for the repairs yourself, which could end up costing you more. Even if they didn’t, selling as-is saves you from the time and energy you’d spend coordinating the repairs.

By submitting this question, I acknowledge and agree that Angi may publicly display my name, city, state, and question on the website for professionals and others to see.
