I wanted to have it all addressed project by project and discovered that there was more damage to one of the walls that needed fixing. As they weren't concrete 'masons', they wouldn't be able to fully address that before installing a drainage system. It was all within my budget. I just didn't want to have the drainage system installed and have it fail because due to the mortar crumbling. The person that went to my house spent a considerable amount of time. He was knowledgeable, courteous, and not pushy. It wasn't until I had another contractor come through that I realized that what I had initially planned on was not going to work. When I went to cancel, the person that handled my estimate was concerned that I was cancelling and that I was being given "bad advice" from another contractor. "Mr. Dolloff was prompt in his response to our inquiry into landscaping projects we were considering. He gave us a free estimate on several projects. The cost seemed very fair and we had him complete a quarter of the entire project ~ grooming a hillside with severe erosion and creating a parking area for 2 cars. The hillside is beautiful. Exactly what we wanted and better than we expected. The parking area was not what I would call satisfactory. But in all honesty, they completed both jobs on time but unfortunately it was just the day before we got all that heavy rain the weekend of October 21st. We are planning for him to complete the other landscaping we need down and he offered to clean up the parking area as soon as the weather settles down."
