Air sealing an attic is widely recognized as beneficial to the home so I am glad they offered that. The need for active vs passive ventilation is controversial enough that I did not add the solar attic fan. I think testing the inflow of air at the eaves by smoke pen or some other method and demonstrating the results should be standard practice, and they did that for me when asked."
