"I hired them to clean out a storage area I no longer wanted, and the worker did an exceptional job of pointing out items that I may want to keep, including some video games. As it turned out, selling the games made me more money than i had to pay, so thanks to him I netted a profit. He was friendly, professional and efficient. I'm very happy to have used this business."

"Yale and Melissa worked over time to get our stuff all moved in a long day. They did extra work because I had health concerns before the move ,and could not do all the packing or disassembly before hand."

"Fabian did a great job taking down old deck beefing up some supports under deck and building new deck and steps. Great guy to work with and made some suggestions for the new deck. Very satisfied with the overall job and the price was very very fair. Would highly recommend him. AA++"

Hey everyone, my name’s Cameron. I’m a recent high school graduate and I’ve been working on building my own junk removal and hauling business. I’m motivated, dependable, and looking to connect with people or businesses that may need help with junk removal, clean outs, furniture hauling, pallets, trash pickup, or similar work. I’m available throughout the week and ready to work hard. If you or someone you know could use help, feel free to message me. Thanks!

"Great experience from start to finish. Communication was fast, showed up on time, and got everything hauled away quickly without any issues. Pricing was fair and the whole process was easy. They were professional, careful with the property, and cleaned up afterward. Would definitely recommend to anyone needing junk removed."

Hauling questions, answered by experts

Once the fire pit ashes have entirely cooled, you can dispose of them with your regular garbage — just wait a day or two to be safe. However, there are lots of good uses for fire pit ashes around the house, so they’re worth saving in a bin outside. For instance, they can help repel pests from your garden and also add rich nutrients to the soil. You can also use the ashes in the winter; ashes are good at providing traction on icy driveways and can even melt snow and ice quickly.

Since you’ll likely be sorting through and getting rid of unwanted items anyway, this may be the perfect time to also plan for a garage sale. This way, you can think through how you want to price your items and group them for sale as you’re purging them from your home. You may also save on having to hire a service to haul away your items, and you’ll make money selling your items instead! Worst case, you can always drop off whatever you don’t sell at your nearest consignment store or donate to a charitable organization.

A house demolition entails removing the structure of your home using demolition equipment. This leaves most of the materials practically unusable. You can reduce project costs and harvest building materials by choosing deconstruction instead. Deconstruction involves salvaging as many reusable materials and structural pieces from the home as possible. The foundation is typically left intact.

The best waste disposal method depends on the type of waste you have. If your waste is recyclable, recycling is the best option because it helps minimize the environmental impact. Organic waste is best composted or converted into fuel via biogas generation. For many items, landfill or incineration are the best options.

Yes, most furniture can be thrown in a dumpster. Wood items like tables, chairs, and bookshelves are generally acceptable. However, some areas have regulations prohibiting the disposal of mattresses and upholstered furniture in a dumpster. It's important to check with both the dumpster rental company for their guidelines and your local waste authority for any specific rules or potential extra fees.
