"Men very professional and friendly that came to house. I’ll have them back for carpet cleaning. Joel came to quote ahead of time. Others would only estimate over the phone."

"They were very, very nice and cleaned up any mess. The carpets looked great when they were finished. I would recommend them. They did quality work. I would absolutely use them again."
"I was pressed to have the carpet cleaned today. I called Acrosstime and he said he could be at my home within the hour and he kept his word. He did an excellent job of vanishing those awful stains and the carpet is so clean all over. Thank you for your expertise. respect, and professional manner."
"The appointment was for 9:00 am and the young man arrived at 9:30. I think he tried to call to let me know, but didn't leave a message. He was very fast --less than an hour. I had a couple of spots that should have come up easily, but did not. I was easily able to get them up afterwards simply by spraying them with Resolve. He was able to partially remove a red stain that I didn't expect, but it appeared that he didn't notice the others. The carpet was extremely wet when he left. He indicated that it should take 4-6 hours to dry, so I put fans out to help it along. Even though the carpet is the flat industrial carpet squares, it took over 24 hours to dry completely. One thing that happened, not necessarily the fault of the company, was that carbon monoxide built up in the basement due to the cleaning process. The van was backed up to the garage door to allow for the hoses, and the exhaust built up in the garage and into the basement. Once the door to the garage was closed, the detector quickly went off. Something to be aware of if the cleaning van is parked close to your access doors. Overall was not that happy with the results. I'm not sure if the deodorizer was applied. Carpet wasn't smelly prior to cleaning, but I expected the basement to smell 'fresh' once the cleaning was done. It mostly smelled damp because it took so long for the carpet to dry. "
"It turned out great. The carpet was good. It was just the third bedroom that I wasn't happy with. Overall, it was good for the price. It was okay. They completed the job in less than an hour. My daughter was there. The third bedroom's carpet was wet but the stains are still there. It was not permanent stain but it looked like the bedroom wasn't even touched."
"Randy is flexible, reliable, and did a good job cleaning my carpets. I didnât need any furniture moved, but I think heâd be able to help with that too. He was nice enough to move a heavy, tall, cat tree out to the garage for me. His price is reasonable and my carpets didnât have a chemical odor when they were drying. Iâll be hiring Randy again."
"They did a awesome job getting out pets stains and dirt from my carpet. They missed a few stains but got 95% of them out. I was very happy with the end result. The only thing I didn't care for was that I had to wait a day for my carpet to dry. Having little kids made that kind of hard for us."
It’s possible to DIY upholstery cleaning, but it’s usually best to leave the work to a professional. If you use aggressive cleaning solutions or are too rough with the material while trying to clean it, you could do permanent damage that demands repair or a full replacement. This issue is especially risky with more delicate materials, like leather, silk, and rayon. Some upholstery needs to be dry cleaned, and knowing how and when to use different cleaning methods is paramount for avoiding damage. A professional upholstery cleaner will know what products and methods are safe to use.
The time it takes for a carpet to dry after cleaning depends on the method used, but it typically ranges from 6 to 12 hours. Several factors influence drying time, including the amount of water used, the carpet's thickness and material, and the home's temperature and humidity. For instance, wool carpets dry slower than synthetic materials like nylon or polyester. While a standard shampooing may take 6 to 12 hours, methods like steam cleaning or high humidity can extend the drying period up to a full 24 hours.
One way to sanitize and deodorize a carpet is to use a cleaning solution made from one part vinegar and two parts warm water. After you vacuum, spray the solution on parts of the carpet that smell, being careful not to oversaturate it. Let the solution sit for 15 to 20 minutes before you perform your normal carpet sanitation routine.
Professionals use advanced, eco-friendly products that ensure effective yet safe cleaning.
Hydrogen peroxide can be a good option for removing dried blood stains, but it’s an aggressive solution that could discolor or damage your carpet. It’s often a better option to call in a professional to deal with dried blood stains. A pro will have commercial cleaning solutions that do a better job as well as the experience necessary to get the stain out without doing irreparable damage to your carpet.
