"Robert called me and asked if I had been contacted yet for a bid and I told him yes but I haven’t called them back because they never reached out to me. He was the first one to call. He got me an estimate later that afternoon and two days later, he finished the job, he was very professional. He was very courteous and that’s coming from my wife because she was the one that got to speak to him in person. I dealt with him over the phone and he was very professional and very appreciative of the work. Five stars for Robert and the work that he did I would recommend him to anybody ."

Vinyl Siding Cleaning questions, answered by experts

Hail as small as 3/4 inch (about the size of a penny) can cause damage to your siding. When hail reaches 1 inch in size, you can expect to see more cracks, chips, and holes, and hail that’s 1 and 1/4 to 1 and 1/2 inches around will cause significant damage. If you see hail that’s 1 and 1/2 inches to 2 inches or more in size, the damage is likely to be extensive and possibly even dangerous.

While any dark color of vinyl is likely to fade, dark red and dark brown vinyl tend to fade faster and more noticeably compared with other dark colors. White is the color least likely to fade, but it will show stains, mildew, and dirt more prominently than darker colors.

Whether vinyl siding needs to be replaced or repaired depends on the severity of its damage or wear and tear. For example, a small hole can be repaired, where large tears may need to be replaced. Cracks, chips, insect damage, loose pieces, and melted side panels are clear signs that the vinyl siding needs to be removed or replaced. It’s relatively easy to learn how to replace vinyl siding, as it’s lightweight and manageable.

Matching new vinyl siding to your old siding can be challenging. Vinyl siding fades over time due to sun exposure, so even a new panel of the exact same color may not be a perfect match; this is often more noticeable with darker colors. Additionally, manufacturers frequently update their products, which can lead to older siding styles and colors being discontinued, making an exact match difficult to find.

For the best chance at an accurate match, try to purchase the same model and color of siding that is currently on your home. If a perfect match isn't available or if fading is an issue, you have a few options. Cleaning the original siding can sometimes help, or you can consider painting your existing siding to create a uniform appearance with the new panels.

Yes, professionals replace faulty or worn-out parts as needed. Common components that are replaced include motors, switches, igniters, thermostats, and heating elements.
