"Tony was very friendly and professional! I showed him the areas of grout I was concerned about and he pointed out that the caulk and grout needed replacing, not only cleaning (which is really what All Points specializes in). He also took a look at the sink and identified where it could be leaking water and causing mold/mildew issues. He even recommended another company I could call to do the work. I really appreciate him taking the time to help me out like this, especially since he didn't have to. I'll be calling Tony in the future to clean some drapes and upholstery for sure just to give him some business!"

"Outstanding! Sam was prompt both when he came to look at job and prompt when the job was to be done. Amazingly, he completed the entire job, including cleaning and re-sealing the bathroom tile floor and re-grouting the tub enclosure, in less than 4 hours - as I had anticipated it taking the entire day and possibly more. I have had the shower worked on, cleaned, etc. 2 earlier times - paid approximately the same amount - but no one even came close with the ending result. The shower looks absolutely new! If you need anything re-grouted - there isn't anyone you could go to that could be better."

"Mike was quick with estimate. He did wonders for tired old grout and made areas of concern look 100% better. He was
very professional, knowledgeable and gave us a very reasonable price on the work he did.I give him a 5 star rating and
would recommend Mike Reed, The Grout Doctor, Concord, N.C. to all. My husband and I are very pleased with the work
done.

Grout Tile Cleaners questions, answered by experts

Unlike sanded grout, unsanded grout doesn’t always require sealing. But it’s a good idea to seal it anyway—especially in moist or humid areas (like bathrooms) or high-traffic spots—to protect it from dirt, mold, stains, and damage. On average, hiring a pro to seal grout costs between $150 and $250 for a 160-square-foot space.

Glass tile is one of the easiest materials to maintain. It is both stain and water-resistant, making it easy to clean and incredibly durable. This also makes it resistant to mold and mildew. However, make sure it’s kept clean, otherwise, your grout might start to degrade. Glass is liable to scratch, so ensure you’re using non-abrasive materials and products, like soft sponges and wipes.

To maintain tile and grout, clean the surfaces regularly with mild, non-abrasive cleaners and wipe up spills promptly to prevent buildup. It is also important to reseal the grout every 1-2 years to maintain its durability.

Yes, if you’re strapped for supplies, boiling hot water can be a great alternative for getting rid of soap scum. However, as this method calls for a bit of soaking, it’s best used when cleaning your bathroom sink or bath basin (or on small objects you can submerge). All you have to do is plug your sink or bathtub drain and pour in enough boiling water to cover the soap scum. Allow it to soak for five minutes, drain, and follow up with an additional hot water rinse to remove any lingering residue.

Whether you tip before or after a carpet cleaning depends on when you’re available. If you’re home when they finish up, you can give them their tip after. However, if you need to leave before they’re done or if you won’t be home at all, you can prepare the tip beforehand and leave it for them in an envelope.
