"His work was a case of good and bad. I think Tom has 3 different crews working for him: tear out crew, a pour/finish crew and a clean up crew. The good: his pouring and finishing crew was great. the slab was poured perfect and finished amazingly great. Superior work. The other two crews were bad. His tear out crew chipped the garage floor when they tore out the driveway. They also destroyed the sprinkler line and control wire under the driveway. They stated it "was too high" to be avoided. For an upcharge, he put another pipe under the slab....then placed it higher than where the original one was placed. He did not repair it and threw the old pipe and wire in the bushes (see picture). These 2 crews left a mess so it was up to the clean up crew to fix the mess. Unfortunately, there is no clean up crew. After 10 days, I called Tom about cleaning up the mess....the piping, the trenches along the driveway, etc. (see picture). He stated that he normally didn't do that but would come out and shove some dirt in them to make me happy. He took the piping, shoved a little dirt in one side of the driveway but left the other side open, left the excess pile of concrete in the garden bed and did nothing for the damage. I like the finish of the driveway but have already spent 3 days fixing the damages and cleaning up."
