"Unfortunately, we had a disappointing experience with Renew Crew of Raleigh. Communication was a problem, as we had to follow up several times with the company to ask about scheduling, billing errors and other details. When the job started, there were several problems along the way. The biggest problem was that the technicians did not protect from their overspray, so there was excessive stain sprayed on our lawn, our gate hardware and other hardscaping, as well as some overspray on the house and downspouts. The crew also stained 60’ of our neighbor’s fence that was supposed to be power washed only. Ultimately, the fence turned out beautifully, and the owner did take appropriate steps to remediate the problems, but the entire process was frustrating from start to finish."

"Carlos, Jason and Mario did an excellent job replacing my attic door. Price was agreed upon before they did the work. On the day of the work they showed up promptly. I really appreciated how they kept everything clean and made sure I knew how to operate the attic door and was satisfied before painting and trim work."

Pressure Washing questions, answered by experts

Sodium bicarbonate does not need to be cleaned up as thoroughly as many of its aggregate counterparts because it is not considered dangerous to the environment, nor to pets or people. While you will likely want to clean up the dust with a shop-vac and some water for aesthetic and comfort reasons, soda blasting cleanup is much simpler than for most sandblasting.

Yes, you must thoroughly clean your deck before staining. If you don't, dirt, debris, grease, and mildew can get trapped between the wood and the new stain. This not only looks unsightly but also prevents the stain from penetrating the wood properly, reducing its ability to protect the deck from weather and UV rays. As a result, the stain won't last as long or look as good. Any existing mold or mildew left untreated can continue to grow beneath the new stain, potentially leading to wood rot and structural damage. Always wait at least 48 hours after cleaning for the wood to dry completely before applying stain.

It generally takes 60 minutes to pressure wash a 19-foot by 19-foot deck. If you are using a pressure washer for the first time, be sure to take extra time to read all directions, select the right nozzles, and test a small portion of your deck before diving into the task.

Some hard surfaces, such as concrete and asphalt, tolerate pressure washing well, and it can be a great way to keep them clean. However, you should avoid pressure washing clay or grass as you'll quickly destroy them.

Additionally, pressure washing can remove paint lines from any surface, so you need to be careful, and it may be best to let professionals handle the job.

It‘s risky to pressure wash indoors, and we wouldn’t recommend it, but following all safety guidelines can prevent the worst outcomes. Always make sure to use an electric-powered machine over one that’s gas-powered, remove obstacles that could cause tripping or falling, and keep appliances like hair dryers and toothbrushes unplugged and out of the way to prevent electrical hazards.
