"Dustin did a fantastic job! He clearly explained the entire process to us so that we knew exactly what to expect. Even though he was working alone, he got the lines pulled and valves replaced much faster than I expected. He was very polite and considerate of our home, and left the work areas clean. We are very glad that this project was completed so quickly and was so well done."

"Having owned four different houses the past 16 years, this was hands down the best experience with a plumber... ever. We hired WyattWorks to install a laundry sink (the stainless over cabinet kind) which required drilling through the floor to tie-in with supply and drain pipes in our basement. Jeremy performed the work flawlessly and was a true pro: measure and recheck, plan and dry fit, and clean up the work area during and after. The whole process from start to finish was painless!"

"There are lots of plumbers available to customers and most have good customer service reliability but the guys from AllClear were hundreds less than their competition, did a great job initially but when the drain blockage persisted, they gladly came back from up Mooresville way to do the required fix and were happy to return after hours the same day...from Mooresville! It was late and on the weekend so I encouraged them to wait until the next morning and before my coffee was finished brewing, they were at my home and did the fix with the best and most professional attitude and lots of laughter during the process too. Other plumbers I contacted were booked weeks in advance while these great guys were able to fit me in same day...and did I mention their price point was less than their competition? I ll recommend only them when it comes to clogged drains!"

Drain Cleaning questions, answered by experts

This depends on the location of the blockage. If the blockage is in your home’s system, anywhere in the system, it is your responsibility as a homeowner. Blockages seldom happen because of items or buildup coming from the city, which means it originates in the home. It becomes the city’s responsibility at the exact point your home’s line distributes waste into the city’s system. The exception is if the problem in your home damages the city lines.

Drain pipes carry wastewater from sinks, toilets, showers, and other fixtures to the main sewer line. They’re typically located within the walls and floors and beneath a home’s foundation. Meanwhile, sewer pipes transport collected wastewater to a septic tank or a municipal sewer system.

To keep your toilet from clogging, you can use less toilet paper. You can also use a liquid toilet plunger to break up any clogs and keep the toilet drain and pipes clear. When it comes to a clogged toilet, the best route is prevention by using less toilet paper and making sure the mechanisms are all working properly.

To unclog a plumbing vent, you first need to locate it. Look at your home's roofline. The plumbing vent will be a vertical pipe sticking straight up from the roof. Since this pipe runs all the way to the main drain underneath your house, you should also be able to find it in the attic.

Some homeowners use additives every month to help septic system performance, but according to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, the effectiveness of septic system and leach field additives is unknown. Further, additives made with organic solvents or alkali chemicals can actually be harmful to the necessary bacteria in a septic system.
