"We had a difficult clog with our teenagers bathroom toilet and Tim Campbell’s experience and repair equipment choices he had available on his truck made all the difference in the world. He and his helper were able to get the line unclogged and Tim was incredibly fair with his pricing as well. I will call Tim anytime we have plumbing issues again. Tim is also a great guy, courteous, on time and I highly recommend him. I have worked with lots of plumbers as Construction Administrator for a National Enginering Firm inspecting and signing off their work on large construction projects. Tim has a great working knowledge of his trade and knew all the right questions to ask to determine if the septic tank needed pumped out (which would have required a different contractor) or if our toilet was actually clogged before we made the appointment for him to come out to my family’s home that day. I knew right then we had a conscientious person that would make sure we got our plumbing problem resolved."

"Recently I had a walk in shower installed. The completion time took longer than anticipated as previous plumbing needed repair. It was done bringing it up to code and making improvements made it an excellent walk in shower . I highly recommend Caleb with. Innovation Renovation."

Plumbing questions, answered by experts

Yes, you can clean a toilet tank with white vinegar. Before you do, shut off the water supply to the toilet. Then, flush it to empty the tank. Next, combine one part vinegar with one part water in a spray bottle and spray the mixture inside the tank. Let it sit for 10 minutes, then rinse away the vinegar by pouring clean water into the tank. Make sure the tank is empty, then dip a scrub brush in vinegar and clean the tank’s inside walls. Turn the water back on and flush again to rinse away the vinegar.

The most common places for water leaks in a home are the fixtures we use most often: the kitchen and bathroom sinks, the showerhead, and the toilet. These components all contain moving parts and O-rings that prevent water from flowing through when the fixtures are shut off, and these can wear down over time and lead to minor drips or significant leaks. You can sometimes employ a DIY solution to replace aerators or faucet O-rings that could be causing the leak, but it’s usually best to call in a professional for a permanent fix.

Installing a drain pipe costs about $600, ranging from $150 to $2,000, depending on the type of drain, accessibility, proximity to drain lines, and whether you’re installing new drain pipes or replacing old ones. Replacing a main drain line can cost over $2,000, whereas replacing a p-trap costs around $150 on average. Keep in mind that new water pipe installation projects are bid by fixture, like kitchen sink, toilet, or main water line. You can expect to pay $70 to $1,000 per fixture.

Most of the time, the answer is yes, but with an enormous asterisk. While an increase in iron deposits isn’t likely to harm you if consumed, that doesn’t mean you should drink any brown water from your faucets. In our book, it’s better to be safe than sorry and opt for bottled until the issue is resolved.

According to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), a leaky faucet that’s dripping at a rate of one drip per second can waste more than 3,000 gallons of water per year. This is one reason why it’s important to fix a leaky faucet sooner rather than later.
