"After further inspection I found that there were spots that hadn’t been cleaned. There were baseboards that hadn’t been cleaned and there was dust under the beds and dressers in the bed rooms. I was told that it would be included in the cleaning. It wasn’t."

"I recently hired Sunlights window cleaning service, and I couldn't be more impressed. Not only was the guy incredibly professional, but his attention to detail was outstanding.. He took the time to ensure every window was spotless, leaving them streak free. His friendly demeanor made the entire experience more enjoyable, and I felt confident trusting him with the task! Overall, I highly recommend this window cleaning service to anyone in need of sparkling clean windows and exceptional service. It's exactly the kind of professionalism and friendliness I look for in a company, and I will definitely be hiring him again in the future!"

Window Cleaning questions, answered by experts

Clean regularly and inspect seals for wear. Replace damaged parts promptly to maintain effectiveness.

Yes, you can use glass cleaner on outside windows, but only after you’ve rinsed away as much debris as possible. Using glass cleaner on top of a layer of dirt will only make it harder to clean.

There are a few qualifying questions you can ask a professional window cleaner to help you decide if it’s the right company for you:

  • Does your price include the inside and outside of the windows?

  • Will you clean the tracks, rails, and other internal components?

  • Are you fully insured?

  • How many years of experience do you have?

  • What kind of cleaning products do you use?

  • Do you have any customer references?

  • Do you provide any other services, like exterior power washing?

Yes, WD-40 can remove stickers from glass thanks to its chemical properties that can break down adhesives. Be sure to wear protective gloves when handling WD-40. Spray the window or glass item, and let it sit for 10 minutes before scraping it with a plastic scraper or credit card.

Getting a streak-free shine after cleaning your windows requires both the right cleaning solutions—which can either include warm water and dish soap or warm water and rubbing alcohol—and the right tools—namely, a squeegee and a microfiber cloth. To make your streak-free glass cleaner, combine one gallon of warm water with a few drops of dish soap, and mix. Apply with a sprayer or sponge, and then dry with a squeegee, microfiber cloth, or old black-and-white newspaper pages.
