Tim and his assistant were careful to put on shoe covers in the house and to observe COVID 19 precautions. The job required more complicated plumbing since we have a desuperheater loop from our geothermal heat pump that connects to the water heater; the additional charge for this work was minimal. "I have been with AHS since 1999 and have used them 4 times: dryer belt broke, dishwasher leaked, heat pump quit working properly, and dryer stopped working. Yes, it is frustrating to wait on hold for a long time, but I have been pleased overall with the service provided. They subcontract the work out, and in the case of the dryer, the guy did not know how to fix the problem and left. AHS followed up immediately with another provider, who had fixed my first dryer problems 8 years ago, and was very knowledgable and did an excellent job. Service charge is standard $75. I have an annual maintenance plan for my heating/cooling systems with a heating company and when they came out this past fall, they found a problem with the heat pump and quoted the fix at $2,000 plus. I called AHS and they confirmed my heat pump was covered under the warranty and sent someone out the very next day. They immediately fixed the problem and I paid them the $75 service fee. Thus far, I have had good experiences and will continue my annual plan with them."
