"Most I called didn't have the skills needed to cut in and hang an exterior entrance door where there wasn't before. They would happily come out and replace one, but cutting a hole in the house, framing in a header and support studs, with minimal disturbance to drywall while making it look like from the outside like the door had always been there takes true skill. Glenn has that skill and made it look easy. Highly recommend."

"The window film was applied to windows, sliding glass doors and sky lights for increased energy efficiency and for furniture and flooring protection from UV rays. The work was done in good time and all questions were answered to my satisfaction reguarding warranty and care. I have used this company in the past and was very pleased with the results then and expect the same with the excellent service to date."

"Install process went smooth. Anytime I called they were always very helpful. Only real downside was that the glass break sensors didn't adhere to the wall well. Support recommended screwing them to the wall and that fixed it."

"David came out measured the roof.  He actually gave us the quote that night.  We gave him a deposit for the materials.  It took approximately 2 weeks to get the ordered materials.  The material was delivered on a Monday and they were out here on Tuesday and had the roof done that day.  I would definitely use them again.

"We needed some motorized shades for our living room area, so that we didn't have to constantly raise and lower them every morning and night. Mojo came out with fabric books and samples, and took all the measurements. We had gotten a price from the Lutron website already, but Mojo met that price, plus they did all the measurements and installation for us. We would definitely use them again!"

Glass and Mirrors questions, answered by experts

Bathroom mirrors weigh between 6 and 13 pounds, depending on the size. A 16x20-inch mirror weighs 6 pounds, while a 24x36-inch bathroom mirror weighs 12.5 pounds. Large mirrors, such as a 30x40-inch mirror, weigh 46 pounds. When installing or hanging a bathroom mirror, have a neighbor or partner assist you in lifting and holding the mirror in place. A second set of eyes can also help ensure the mirror is centered and level.

You can use a commercial water repellent treatment for glass on your shower doors to prevent water spots. Take care to only apply the product to glass. Letting air circulate also helps prevent water spots, as water is less likely to remain on the glass for a long time with good air circulation. Run your vent fan, open a window, and leave the shower door open for about half an hour after using the shower.

Never put glass in the garbage disposal. It can damage your disposal or eject shards of glass out of the disposal and cause injury. If you get broken glass in your garbage disposal, turn it off and cut the power from the breaker, use a tool like pliers or tongs to remove the glass, and use a wet-dry vacuum to remove the remaining glass pieces. If you can’t access the disposal safely, call a garbage disposal repair pro.

Storm door panels are typically made from tempered or laminated glass, and each type has its benefits. Tempered glass goes through a special heating and cooling process, increasing its strength and durability. It’s known for its safety features—when it breaks, it shatters into small, relatively harmless pieces rather than sharp shards. Laminated glass is made by sandwiching a layer of plastic between two layers of glass. This interlayer holds the glass pieces together even when shattered, preventing them from scattering.

If you decide to forgo your old windows and upgrade them to modern day technology, there may be some people interested in the old windows. You can try selling them on an online marketplace for around $50 to $100 each (so long as the window wasn’t damaged during the removal). This can also help off set the overall price to replace them.
