"I converted a bedroom to a dressing room and worked with the designer to come up with a design. Once installed, some adjustments were needed on one side, Closet America was easy to work with on the matter and quickly took care of things"

Customers say: True professional

"JLP is a FANTASTIC company, they were able to help me on short notice and went well beyond what we had originally discussed. I ended up having them install my vinyl plank flooring after originally hiring them to paint some rooms and repair my ceiling and wall because I was so impressed with their work. Jeffâ s prices are fair, you may find cheaper prices but you will NOT find better craftsmanship, in a day and age where good quality and craftsmanship are extremely difficult to find itâ s nice to know there are still a few companies who still value it. With JLP you truly get what you pay for. Stacy and JT are good hard working guys who will work until itâ s right even if that means extra time and materials, their main concern is customer satisfaction. I have and will continue to recommend them to anyone looking for GOOD, QUALITY WORK! If youâ re looking for the cheapest you can get it done then this isnâ t the company for you BUT if youâ re looking for a company who will do it right the first time and who stands by their work the JLP is YOUR CHOICE! I WILL be hiring Jeff and his guys again."

"Great honest contractors. They did my bathrooms, hot water heater, unclogged my house drain and they did a French drain so my basement is not wet anymore. I already hired them to do my whole roof in the spring. I will hire them anytime."

Cabinet Contractors questions, answered by experts

Most assemblies take 1-3 hours, but larger units or those requiring wall mounting may take longer.

Not exactly. While this is a fairly straightforward task to handle without professional assistance, it’s not one that you can do completely on your own. You’ll need a strong person to hold the bathroom vanity level and in place while you screw it into the wall. It’s heavy, so you want to ensure you have help installing it.

Installing cabinet toe kicks after installing flooring is common, as this produces a sleek, streamlined appearance along the cabinetry bases. The toe kick is a cabinetry term for the covered, recessed areas at the cabinet’s base that let you stand closer to the counter more comfortably by making room for your toes.

In a kitchen installation, starting with the foundation and structural elements before moving on to the finishing touches is essential. Framing, plumbing, and utilities should go first, followed by cabinetry and countertops, then plumbing fixtures and new appliances. Flooring, paint, tile backsplashes, and similar finishing touches should get installed last.

Yes, as long as the doors match the dimensions of your old cabinets and use compatible hinges. This method works best if you are using similar materials and door styles that match your existing cupboards. If you’re choosing significantly different materials, like moving from fiberboard to hardwood, then it’s usually best to replace the entire cabinet.
