It didn't go! Bornman aka Novus construction was scheduled to reface a fireplace and replace firebox to larger one in addition to a few small handyman jobs. They asked for an $1100.00 down payment which I paid them by check. They did not do any of work. They have kept my down payment of $1100.00. I have tried to email and call him. To my knowledge we have never spoken to this client. I have checked our client log and no record of correspondence with him. We keep contact info on every potential client with notes on intial contact. He must have us confused with anther company. I was impressed with his work ethic. He was courteous and quick with his plans. My decision to not do it his way was time. I had to leave and didn't have time to do that. He thought of all the things needed for safety as well as asthetics. I will use him in the future if I need his services.

The services were very good. They repaired the roof. The communications were not excellent. The estimate was right on target. The company itself, I would recommend. The issue with communication was with a specific employee and not company overal.
