"Samantha is the model of professionalism and I have to say, there is nothing better then coming home to a perfectly clean house. It amazes me how good of a job she does in the amount of time she does it in. It’s always my favorite day when I get home, open the door and can just smell how clean my home is. Trust me on this, you want this company to clean your home. It’ll be the best decision you make all year ??"

"George responded to my e-mail request for a quote on 3 badly soiled carpets used by tenants in a rental unit.  He provided me with a quote of $90 which I felt was quite reasonable.  On the day of service, George called in advance and then arrived at the specified time.  I told him there were actually 2 additional carpets to be cleaned if he had the time.  As we were looking at the areas to be cleaned, George pointed out the areas which would be no problem as well as those which could be problematic.
The actual time was much quicker than I ever would have expected and he did a FANTASTIC job.  My carpets looked beautiful and smelled fresh.  The additional cost for the 2 rooms was $50.  I will most definitely use George again in the future and would recommend him for any carpet cleaning job you have!!!

Carpet Cleaning questions, answered by experts

Generally, it’s recommended that you vacuum your carpet once per week and steam clean them every six to 12 months. If you have children and pets, you might wish to steam clean more frequently to remove stains and wear-and-tear. Consider steam cleaning carpet every 6 months in these scenarios.

Furniture cleaning is a relatively inexpensive home project, but it’s helpful to find ways to keep these services within your budget. Some ways to save on furniture cleaning include:

  • Cleaning multiple pieces of furniture at once to save on trip fees and cleaning minimums

  • Using slipcovers on furniture when possible to avoid stains and dirt

  • Blot, never rub stains, to try to lift the mess out without spreading it deeper into the fibers

  • Choose easy-to-clean furniture materials

In addition to having your carpets professionally cleaned, most carpet cleaners offer a range of supplemental services and treatments, including:

  • Patching and repairing holes: $100–$250 per hole

  • Carpet stretching to remove wrinkles: $60 per hour

  • Water extraction: $450–$2,000, depending on square footage

  • Pet stain and odor removal: $30–$50 per hour

  • Furniture and upholstery cleaning: $50–$80 per item

  • Furniture moving and removal: $10–$50 per item

  • Padding replacement: $4–$7 per square foot

  • Teflon treatment: $20–$40 per project

  • Environmentally friendly carpet cleaning: $100–$200 per room

After a carpet cleaning, it's important to give it time to dry before walking on it. While you should wait at least one hour to prevent immediate damage, a general guideline is to stay off the carpet for 6 to 12 hours. For the carpet to dry completely, it's best to wait a full 24 hours if possible.

The exact drying time can vary based on several factors:

  • Carpet Type: Thicker or high-pile carpets may take up to a full day or longer to dry completely, especially if they are very wet.

  • Cleaning Method: Methods like steam cleaning, which extract most of the water, can reduce drying time, allowing for light traffic after 6 to 12 hours.

  • Environment: You can speed up drying time by ensuring good airflow, using fans, and maintaining low humidity. Poor ventilation will extend the drying period.

Walking on a damp carpet can re-soil it, leave footprints, and potentially damage the carpet fibers.

The time it takes for a carpet to dry after cleaning depends on the method used, but it typically ranges from 6 to 12 hours. Several factors influence drying time, including the amount of water used, the carpet's thickness and material, and the home's temperature and humidity. For instance, wool carpets dry slower than synthetic materials like nylon or polyester. While a standard shampooing may take 6 to 12 hours, methods like steam cleaning or high humidity can extend the drying period up to a full 24 hours.
