"We hired Mr. Handyman to paint our gables and soffitt. The employee was inexperienced. After setting up, she approached me and said she had made a mistake and didn't understand that she was painting the gables. The estimate we accepted stated painting 3 gables and soffitts. She said she needed to re-estimate the work. Eventually, we agreed on a new [much higher price that her boss approved.] She did very little work before she went back to the company van and sat in it. The office manager arrived to say that she was sick and someone else would be coming the next morning to do the agreed upon job. He started the job and my husband went to talk to him. He stated he was only doing the gables per his boss. The boss called immediately and was irate. He insisted the work was only to paint the gables. I told him we had both a written estimate and video recording [of the renegotiation] stating the work to be done. He insisted we pay more. I asked why, we already agreed and he hung up on me. "

"It was carefully thought out and had to be completely taken down to the original pipes and plumbing in a bathroom 65 years old. The bathroom did not meet requirements or even the parts required now, so everything had to be measured and fitted with updated materials. Added to that, the house was not grounded electrically. All new breakers had to be installed with GFI connections. A window in the shower wall was removed, and the wall and vinyl siding removed and replaced. Insulation was installed in the attic, with new light fixtures, fan, and heater in the ceiling of the shower/tub. All of the very old ceramic tile had to be removed from very old flooring, and old crumbling wall tiles throughout the bathroom. The bathroom was originally 2 small rooms with 2 sinks and 2 toilets. It’s now a whole nice-size bathroom, with one toilet, a double sink, a linen closet, and storage space. The walls between had to be removed, and 4 doors removed. This was a huge time-consuming job, and Mr McGilliad did every step, communicating with me to ensure that I approved of changes made. My new bathroom is beautiful. I would love to have him back when I need anything done with care and experience and kindness again!"

His prices are on the mark but their workmanship is above and beyond. Scott is a can do type of guy and his crew is helpful and accommodating. They work nice and neat and keep their work debris free. The project started with just the driveway. As the work progress I was so happy with what I saw I contracted him to do a walkway that lead around the side of the house and into the yard. He routed the down spouts under the walkway and pipes that took the rain water away from the house. He thought of everything he really knows his stuff. From the walkway I had him do the patio off the back of the house. He graded the property when he was done. His work is impeccable. He is definitely my go to guy. Easy to work with , down to earth, and excellent work from underlayment to finished top layer. I am happy I found him.
