"I have a small lot with lots of mature trees and more than a dozen mature hollies that needed trimming. I hired Sans Tree Service to trim tree branches, remove a tree and trim the hollies which tend to make a small lot even smaller. The crew of 5 spent a few hours trimming, raking up and chipping. The results were excellent! In addition, they were professional and courteous and I would most definitely hire them again!"

Customers say: Quality work

"Two factors: excellent communication and quality work. They kept us informed at every step. This was important because of a delay caused by a storm. When they did get there, they were friendly and helpful. They handled some last minute changes without problems. They took out a dead tree that was in an awkward position right next to our house, taking care to not damage anything. They even cleaned up some brush that we had collected."

"Nicolas and his crew took down a triple trunk 100 foot (at least) maple. I was nervous but didn't need to be. There were limbs very close to the roof but there were no roof falls. The crew was great and no injuries to house or property or crew. I would definitely recommend them for large tree removal. They also chipped the left overs for me for future mushroom beds. Highly recommend. Call them."

"Ron and crew took down two trees, one large one very close to the house. They cleared up all debris and carted away. Ron cut the trees very low to the ground for us. Very good price, best quote we got. We would highly recommend and will use them again."

"Rick was great working with me to build my dream backyard putting green. I also had him build two chipping areas that are great. After everything was installed there was a huge rain storm that washed away some of the base. I reported it to Rick and they fixed it within a week (at no charge) and made it stronger so it wouldn't happen again. I could not recommend them more!"

"This is the second time I have used Ruben and his crew. They are the best! Not just the work but the prices too! They are also very kind, after one of my trees were cut the foreman notice the stump had an "Owl" formation and instead of hauling asked me if I wanted to keep it. It was perfect because I teach. :-) they even set up for me in yard. they will never take advantage of you."

Brush Chipping questions, answered by experts

Typically, the best type to trim bushes is when they’re dormant. Winter and late fall, potentially even early spring are the best times to trim your bushes. These seasons allow you better access to the branches, as all leaves are gone and the branches are more brittle, making the trimming process easier.

If debris from a tree located in a government-owned space (such as a sidewalk, public school, or government property) falls in your yard, it is the city’s or state government’s responsibility to have the debris cleaned up. On the other hand, most states only hold a neighbor liable for cleaning up their tree’s debris if they were negligent in caring for the tree.

You can dispose of a chain link fence in a handful of ways. One way to dispose of a chain link fence is to give it away to someone else. Some other options to get rid of your fence is to recycle it, scrap the metal, donate the fence to someone who needs it, or bring it to a local landfill. You may have to pay a fee to hand it over to a landfill; check with the establishment first to check on fee costs.

Leaf removal isn’t usually necessary, and in fact, leaving leaves where they fall or mulching them instead can provide nutrients to your soil that can be good for your lawn and garden beds. Most homeowners prefer the look of a lawn that is neat and clean, though, so the majority of people prefer to pay for leaf removal. There are some cases where you might have to pay for leaf removal, like if you live in a strict homeowners association that mandates the service or a generally clean lawn.

There are several ways to decompose yard waste quickly. The first step is to move all debris into a compost bin or pile. From there, microorganisms, bacteria, and insects will break down the yard waste into compost. To speed things up, shred the waste into smaller pieces, add live worms to the pile, or introduce nitrogen-rich compost accelerators like grass clippings, coffee grounds, and manure. Turn the compost over every few days. This process, called aerating, allows oxygen to get in and accelerate decomposition.
