"it went great. it was located in a difficult location at the back of the house. the design was perfect. the work was excellent. we had him do addition things--driveway, steps up a hill, patio off the bedroom, accessible access to front door. all was done very well"

"Owner Junior Green was a friendly, honest fellow who was reliable, worked hard, did a very good job, and left the site clean. My job was painstaking in places and access was a bit tricky, but no problem for Junior. He mostly worked alone and cut no corners. He started with the foundation and outside of masonry wall, which looked great. We then ran into weather problems and my dissatisfaction with colors chosen from misleading Sherwin Williams color samples, which put him behind schedule and I had to suspend the project due to going out of town. I could have switched painters then but did not. When he returned he worked steadily and finished my project in less than the expected time. I am very pleased with the outcome. My only gripe is that he does not have an account with Lowe's, where I preferred to buy because they sell in small cans to try out different colors. He says he does not like their paint but they carry Cabot and Valspar so I don't get it. I now own several cans of unused stain and did not get a painter's discount on all materials. Also, he is not cheap. Still, I recommend Clean Hands and will be a return customer."

From the initial communication, to the 2 different free walk-throughs/consultations as we changed our minds about what we wanted, to the tasks we added during the job, to the completion of the project, Kevin and Allison were kind, patient, flexible, accommodating, competent, knowledgeable and reassuring. Kevin is a thinker. When presented with a problem, he will problem solve and brainstorm until he finds a solution that is both safe (to code), appropriate and aesthetically pleasing to the client. Allison is his right-hand, a partner in business and recently his wife. They both have an eye for design and often have a friendly competition over who’s design idea will be accepted by the client. This duo is like a well-oiled machine; one thinking through the steps and the other supporting and following up on the details. They are professional, yet interested; focused, yet willing to stop and answer our questions (and we had a LOT); business oriented, yet fair. My husband and I are relationship oriented. For us, forming a relationship, especially with people who were to be in our personal spaces for several weeks, was critical. Now, after completion, we feel blessed to know Kevin and Allison as friends...the kind you can call in the middle of the night if you're stranded on the side of the road. It was the last day of the job - some finishing touches and a front entry door install. The door didn't fit, so back to the store they went. Our store didn't have the one we wanted but instead of asking us to pick a different door, without hesitation they chose to travel to a neighboring city to get the one we had decided on. They made sure we knew if there were any issues after they left, they wanted us to call and promised to take care of them. We have texted several times since they left with questions that they answered immediately. Our job consisted of scraping an entire floor of popcorn ceilings, installing canned lighting in 3 rooms, a living room accent wall, scraping and sanding ceiling beams, two door installations, and a full bathroom reno. We have fallen in love with our home again; the home we always knew it could be. Our future plans include hiring AMLO Custom Creations for an outside project just as soon as they can get us on the books."
