Having trouble getting your gas fireplace working? Most problems can be solved with a a regular service, which includes cleaning out the firebox, clearing the pilot and burner of debris with forced air, removing corrosion from the pilot and thermopile, changing batteries and turning on the pilot light. Need a new installation. I am an authorized dealer for Peterson Realfyre gas logs, the best in the business.

The owner, Steve Sterling, began in the 1980s, installing custom wood stoves. This and previous chimney sweeping experience resulted in the creation of Carolina Chimney in 1996. We are a Certified Chimney Sweep Company and work with licensed personnel. We offer great rebates for our Regency products and also offer coupons for our services throughout the year. "PLEASE BE WARNED. This was our experience: After many delays, Steve *began* the work about 4 months after the estimate was done. Months after the job was *started* it was *still* not finished. In our case, he would not follow-through & show up when he said he would (this happened repeatedly, sometimes with excuses like weather, and sometimes with the excuse that he had too many other jobs going on). When a week or two would pass and we would follow up with him, he responded to us like we were bothering him and we were in the wrong. Moreover, the total bill was well more than what we were quoted. Steve is a jovial individual, exceptionally talkative, knowledgeable in his trade but the utter lack of integrity as far as follow-through (doing what he says he will) has been an utter nightmare and a terrible lesson for us."

It projects minimal warmth and we are now being told that there is nothing additional to do and this fireplace will be primarily for show. Obviously, if we had this information prior, we would have made a very different decision in our purchase and, potentially, the design of our porch. Zack is no longer responsive to my inquiries and communications. Overall, terrible service and experience."
