"After Hurricane Helene left a huge tree on our roof, we called a different tree service. When they arrivwd, they assessed the situation and decided it was too difficult to tackle and recommended Jason Miller and his crew at All Around Tree Service. We contacted him, and he came right away. He placed us on his priority list and came a few days later to remove the tree. They all did an excellent job and were able to remove the tree without causing further damage to the house and surrounding structures. They even showed up the next day to haul wood away and clean the area. They were professional, well organized, thoughtful, and thorough. I heartily recommend them for all tree work and particularly for difficult jobs that others will not consider."

"I used Krause Family Arborist to remove a large damaged tree that was dangerously close to my barn. And, they also carefully removed a big tree branch overhanging my home. All work was done in a superior manner. Fair pricing. On-time work. Excellent customer service."

"Extremely thorough and professional. They went above and beyond what I asked for in cleaning up overgrown flower beds, trimming trees, bushes, and mulching. The cost was reasonable and I would recommend them 100%."

"It's not often that someone truly impresses me, but this young man did exactly that. From the very beginning, his professionalism, communication, and business sense stood out. He carries himself with a level of maturity well beyond his years. His crew did an outstanding job trimming my trees and left my property spotless when they were finished. The cleanup was just as impressive as the work itself, and he kept me informed throughout the entire process. I've been in sales for over 10 years and have worked alongside many seasoned professionals, yet I've met very few who demonstrate the level of professionalism, follow-through, and customer service that he does. He has an incredibly bright future ahead of him. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for quality work, excellent communication, and someone who truly takes pride in what they do."

Arborists questions, answered by experts

Absolutely. These steps are significantly easier, too, especially when it comes to preserving the root ball and moving the palm tree. However, you will want to make sure the tree has plenty of fertilizer to establish itself and start growing. Supports may also be more important, as it can take extra time for a potted palm to spread out its roots. If you are transferring a palm to another pot, you’ll want to move up a size or two to a larger pot. Make sure the pot has excellent drainage to keep the palm from getting waterlogged.

If you’re planning on keeping the tree, unless the roots are invasive, there’s no need to remove them, as doing so can cause damage to the tree. If the tree has been cut down and the stump and roots are left, grinding and removing the stump can cause root decay for some species. For other species, the stump and roots will need to be removed to prevent pests, disease, and possible tree regrowth.

No, you cannot plant a tree above a gas line. Tree roots grow and spread over time and can sometimes dent, crack, or penetrate a gas line. Those same roots may also cause accessibility problems for maintenance or repairs. You can generally plant vegetation with non-invasive root systems, low-growing vegetation, and flower beds near gas lines.

Unless it’s dead or dangerous, think twice about cutting down a tree in your yard. They’re good for health, well-being, wildlife, and the environment. Plus, local authorities often have regulations prohibiting the removal of trees, especially protected species or individual trees with historical value.

Maple trees start the growing season by developing small groups of red flowers where the tree's fruit, the samaras, will appear in the coming weeks. Later in spring, the samaras, which many call whirlybirds or similar names, develop into single-winged seed carriers that spin when falling or drifting in the wind.
