Ray's Tree Service

This is the second time we've  used Ray's Tree Service and the second time around was just as good as the first! 
We now have a clear view of Grandfather Mountain and the valley below us.

Ray?s Tree Service (RTS) offered highly competitive pricing.
In fact, two of the A rated firms never bothered to provide a quote after
seeing the scope of work and at least two A rated firms never bothered to
return my call, which speaks volumes about RTS!
RTS is on my calendar in May or June to enhance our view of Grandfather
Mountain by topping out numerous trees in our yard and our neighbor?s yard.
RTS runs like a finely tuned engine so hire them, grab a
chair and watch how it?s supposed to be done! 
 Oh, I almost forgot one very important thing, before
ascending into the canopy to with harness and chain saw, Brandon Ray kneels
with his team in prayer. It is, after all, very dangerous work.

Excellent service. Would highly recommend. They were prompt, very knowledgable and the price was very reasonable. The owner, Brandon and his crew were very business like but friendly as well.

I have used this provider on several occasions and have always been pleased with his work. He is very knowledgeable, has good ideas, and strives to please the customer.

They did a very good job and cleaned up all the debris that I did not want.

The owner, Brandon Ray, and two workers were on the property, starting the job, at 8:00 AM the next morning.
Brandon left after a while, leaving the other two workers. These are hard-working guys.
Because of a neighbor complaining about their blocking the lane with their chipper, they quit before all of the trees that were supposed to be chipped were finished. It would have been too far for them to haul the trees to chip after they moved the chipper from the lane.
My husband paid them the full amount anyway.
Brandon Ray, being an honorable fellow, knew he owed us some time and work. After a bit of back and forth, we agreed that instead of bringing the chipper back, he would take down a few more trees for us in exchange.
An honorable and knowledgeable man with a strong work ethic and a good crew.

Ray’s Tree Service took down a tree for us that one other
service refused to do and another one said they would cut, and then never
showed up to do the job. He was very
professional, courteous, more than prompt (he did the job a day earlier than he
said), and had good communication. His
is a certified arborist and is insured. He
even gave us advice about what to do about some ailing shrubs. We are very happy and highly recommend this
service.

The owner of the company, a certified arborist, came over and we discussed the tasks that I wanted to be done.
I was very impressed with his knowledge.  I was even more impressed with his honesty. There were at least two things that I thought I wanted removed and when I explained those to him, his reply was, "If that's what you want, I will do it but, if it were me, I would leave it because .........................". He offered money-saving suggestions that I had not considered and it was clear that he was interested in what would look best and not what would provide the best profit for him.
He gave me an estimate that I considered reasonable and a date when he could complete the work. Both were satisfactory. The quality of his work was excellent and it was done at the appointed time.
Without question, I will use this company again.

Ray's Tree Service gave us the lowest cost estimate for topping and downing several trees on our property. They were prompt to respond to our request for an estimate. The gentleman who performed that service was also an arborist who was knowledgeable about our trees and advised us as to which ones needed attention. Turnaround time was minimal, the crew was here in a couple of days. They were courteous and efficient; the job was completed in about half a day.

He was prompt. I actually had a tree that had fallen on a wire and the power company came. He was here within a few days to take down the rest of the tree. It was a 100 foot tree, so, it was very reasonable. The experience was great. I didn't check on any other prices with anybody, but, that sounded very reasonable to me. It was a huge tree. It was on the side of a hill, it wasn't easy to get to, it wasn't just like you could drive up to it, and there it is. His quality of work was fine. He was very prompt, but, I wasn't here when he took down the tree, it wasn't like I was waiting for him. His professionalism was excellent. I will use him again in the future.
