"By far THE BEST landscapers in the area. Fred and his crew new exactly what to do. My yard was over grown with weeds, tall grass, debree.. etc... I was overwhelmed with the prices many had quoted me. Then I received a call from Fred and he took care of everything. Not only did and his men tend the yard he trimmed my hedges at no cost. The following week we had been talking about cutting down 9 trees I had in my yard as well as my pergola. he gave me such reasonable prices for everything and while I was at work received a call that he had indeed came and tended to the yard. I was so pleased but could pay all the money up front. for I had thought we would do this in steps. Fred was so generous and actually allowed me to pay him the following week. I He is also an electrician and stripped the wires providing lights in my pergola so I didn't have to call the light company. My yard had never looked better. I can wait until spring time so I can began my garden with the help of Fred and his crew. I HIGHLY recommend working with him. He's not only reasonable with his prices he's generous and really caring. I know if ever I or a friend needs work done I'm going to call them. Thank you again Fred my yard isn't where I want it but I know with your help its going to be great.!!! Oh and they also lay down cement for fire pits which is my next project!!"

Weed Services questions, answered by experts

If you have a lot of tree roots in your yard or have experienced issues in the past, you should use tree root killer every six months to prevent roots from infiltrating your pipes. If you have an active invasion and aren’t seeing results, check the instructions on the bottle to see how often you can use it in a short period of mine.

Too much clover in your lawn can indicate several issues with your soil. Clover can thrive in soils with abnormally high pH, low-cut grass, and low nitrogen. Amending these issues can push clover out for good.

Hardy perennial clover loves the low nitrogen and compact conditions that often come with poor, infertile soils. But other factors also contribute to a clover explosion, including drought conditions, cool temperatures, under fertilization, and over-irrigation. You’ll need to evaluate all these elements when planning to kill off the clover.

Clover lawns stand up better against dog and cat urine than traditional turfgrass. If your pets love to hang out on the lawn on a sunny day—or if you find yourself with a lot of visiting neighborhood dogs—you could save yourself from yellow and brown patches by making the switch to a clover lawn.

The best way to prevent weeds is to use polymeric sand, which hardens and blocks weed growth when activated with water. If you're using regular sand, you'll need to refill and compact it more often. Keeping the surface clean and free of debris can also help prevent weed seeds from settling in the joints.

Yes, Johnsongrass is a hard weed to kill. It has the ability to grow fast and spread even quicker, so it requires a detailed plan and thorough application to eliminate it. The best plan of action is to kill Johnsongrass while the weed is establishing itself by hiring a lawn care professional or following the steps above.
