"Excellent customer service. Needed a special size HWH to fit the space and Justin was able to find one and install in under 2 hrs. Competitive pricing, all inclusive whereas several quotes from competitors did not include drip pan or other parts. Clean up was immaculate. Definitely recommend."

"My spouse and I recently had both of our bathroom wet rooms replaced. In one bathroom, the tub was replaced with a new one, and in the other, the garden tub was replaced with a walk-in shower. The process started at around 8:15 a.m. when two teams arrived and began removing the existing wet rooms. They then reset the drain piping, which was a very involved task, before rebuilding the wet room. Both teams worked diligently throughout the day, and by 4:45 p.m., they had completed the work on both bathrooms and left everything clean and tidy.à  What was particularly impressive was that there was no indication that anyone had been in our home other than the West Shore sign in our front yard. The team consisted of Ryan, William, TJ, Jameson, and Leigh, and I was present throughout the entire process. Their work was professional, respectful, detailed, and precise. The West Shore process was also very seasoned and effective. I strongly recommend West Shore Home to anyone considering this type of work, especially this team, for future projects."

"The project manager, Bob, was very helpful and responsive throughout the process. The office manager seemed a bit scattered but everyone else was very professional.. When our grab bar was inadvertently omitted, the ordered one and came to install it at our earliest convenience. They also replaced a transition piece that had not been cut properly. The finished shower is great."

Drain Cleaning questions, answered by experts

There are several steps you can take to prevent your AC drain from clogging. This includes cleaning the drain line at least every three months, changing the filter every one to three months, and getting your AC serviced annually. Also, if any problems arise with your AC, hire an HVAC technician to deal with them ASAP.

First, find the cleanout pipe in your yard. Unscrew the cap—you may need a wrench to do so. Then, get a drain snake. You can use a non-motorized one, but a motorized snake will make the job a little easier. Feed the snake through the pipe until it reaches the clog. Spin the snake continuously, but don’t try to feed it through the pipe anymore. Keep spinning until you feel it break the clog apart.

DIY is not recommended due to safety risks and specialized equipment requirements. Hire professionals for effective clearing.

Several signs can tip you off to a clogged dishwasher drain. At first, you may notice that it’s taking longer than usual for the dishwasher to drain, or you may hear gurgling sounds during the draining part of the cycle. You might also notice water backing up into your sink or excess food at the bottom of the dishwasher after a load. The most obvious sign, though, is seeing standing water at the bottom of your dishwasher after the cycle has finished.

Your dishwasher drain hose may have a clog if your dishwasher is full of water, your dishes aren’t getting cleaned, or water takes a long time to discharge into the garbage disposal.
