I enjoyed working with this company, I was in a bind with no AC and they were able to come in quickly and install my Mr. Cool unit with no issues. It has been running great ever since.

Jason Bornman of Bornman Construction, LLC changed his company name to Novus Construction, LLC. Soon after, he filed bankruptcy under Novus Construction, LLC. He kept my down payment. He moved an hour from here, on the other side of Jacksonville in NC.

"The claims are entirely false. Neither I nor Novus Construction has ever misappropriated deposits. Novus Construction remains in business, and I have lived in the same house for over two decades. We regret not reaching a mutual understanding with Ms. Christine. To the best of my recollection, we were contracted to design and construct a fireplace and surround. After agreeing on a design, we attempted to begin construction three times, but each time the client changed her mind after work had commenced, causing us to halt the project and return materials. Eventually, the fireplace provider refused to continue after she repeatedly rejected the special-order inserts she had chosen. Consequently, our coordinator, Walter, informed her that her deposit had been fully spent on design and redesign efforts. Due to her unwillingness to let us complete the agreed-upon work, we had to terminate our working relationship. A year later, I noticed her review on the BBB website making similar accusations. I offered to fully refund her through their resolution center but received no response."

Very satisfied. Juan was very detailed as he did not only a new roof but also siding. It was very hot. Jason replaced our windows upstairs and painted the interior, very pleased with entire job

Did not complete the job,said he would come back when he would do the other job that I offered,tried getting in touch with him on several occasions,as his quote for the second project I felt was to high,my husband called and returned his message and he never returned the call,I have emailed several times with no response. This was highly disappointing.

Replacing a kitchen faucet and garbage disposal is not exactly BornmanConstruction's normal project. What I needed was a plumber, and Bornman seems to do roofing and heavier construction projects. But Mr. Bornman got me some fellows who are plumbers(Doshier Plumbing). Mr Doshier and Mr. Smith arrived when schedule, went right to work and were finished within an hour. One hour, and they had to leave for a few minutes to get a few fittings they needed. I believe that is pretty good service. If I had a non-plumbing project in the future, I would contact Mr. Bornman. If I need more plumbing done, I would call Mr. Doshier. Very pleased.

Refreshing & a blessing to deal with a company that was all about business. They stated what they would do & went above & beyond in giving us options for our project - very professional, customer service oriented & payed attention to detail. They were very hands on & a pleasure to contact a company anythime with questions or clarifcation & talk to a live person. VERY professional and easy to work with! I would recommend this company to anyone looking to do house repairs or remodel. The pricing is extremely reasonable and the quality of work is outstanding! I would definitely recommend Bornman's Carpentry-They have very good customer service, you call or email them and you get fast feedback-you always get a live person, never an answer machine and with his company he also give you his private number not just the office.Bottomline-I appreciated the personal touch I got from him and his office. I am very satisfied with my new roof/glutter. I gave the company an overall rating of 5

Mr Bornman sent a roof repair technician out, who identified the problem, gave an estimate on repairs and the best way to repair the problem. He fixed the problem and identified several areas that may become a problem and took steps to prevent it. After work wa completed, he did all the cleanup and left looking like nothing was done at all, which is in my experience unusual. A job well done!
