"I cannot say enough about the professionalism and expertise of Tim! He came out at night to demo the lights (a lot of landscapers would not demo), kept the lines of communication open and guided me step by step through the process! We are grateful for his hard work and will definitely recommend him to all of our family and friends!!!!"

"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ True Authority Landscape is hands down one of the best landscaping companies we’ve worked with. Matthew and Katie are exceptional owners who genuinely care about their clients and it shows in every detail of their work. They are incredibly hardworking, responsive, and go above and beyond to make sure the customer is not just satisfied, but truly pleased. Their knowledge of lawn care is extensive—they clearly understand soil health, turf management, and long-term lawn success, not just quick fixes. Our yard has never looked better, and the professionalism, integrity, and pride they take in their work truly sets them apart. If you’re looking for a trustworthy, knowledgeable, and dedicated landscaping team, True Authority Landscape is the clear choice."

"Wilber Bonilla from Greenery landscaping is in the process of landscaping our property, adding a stepping stone walkway and has built us a lovely 16'x32' interlocking paver patio. We are beyond ecstatic with his work. He has great suggestions and listens to our desires in making our property beautiful, but keeping it low maintenance. Once the weather permits he will add a stepping stone walkway and more plants/shrubs. Wilber contacted us through home advisors after we requested a patio estimate. He has been in business for himself for 2 years now but has 15 years experience. Wilber and his team are meticulous and have gone above and beyond our expectations."

"Lance was awesome. He landscaped the back yard, cleaned it , reseeded the grass and did a lot that was needed but not part of what I asked. He took time to do it better than I thought possible. Then fixed the water drain off in the front , took all the junk that was tossed in put a liner down and covered it with white rock it looks beautiful . This man is so hard working I was ashamed he did all this and never quit, his price was fantastic for all he did. I will never hire anyone else ever again but him. Believe me you will NOT be sorry you hire him"

Landscaping questions, answered by experts

Costs for lakefront landscaping are influenced by project size, choice of plants and materials, labor, and any additional features or structures desired. Projects can range from a few thousand dollars to extensive transformations costing much more.

The landscaping elements that add the most value are often the basics. A well-maintained, attractive lawn can have a return on investment (ROI) of up to 217%. Routine lawn maintenance, such as edging and mulching, can provide an ROI of over 100%. Other high-value projects include upgrading your front walkway, which can offer a 100% ROI, and planting trees. Projects like adding decks, patios, outdoor lighting, irrigation systems, fire pits, and outdoor kitchens also add value and enjoyment, though their direct financial ROI may be less than 100% in some cases.

If you want to take your tree-planting hobby beyond your outdoor space, here are a few great ways to do it:

  • Encourage your neighbors to participate in the Arbor Day Foundation’s Tree City USA program, which has a four-step framework that helps communities grow and maintain their own tree cover.

  • Support businesses that plant trees.

  • Lobby your local government to plant more trees around your community.

  • Donate to a tree-planting charity.

You should avoid planting grass, shrubs, plants, and trees in freezing temperatures, as the ground can get frozen and become too hard for proper root growth. It’s best to plant in the fall to allow your plants to establish root systems before the first frost. Landscaping when the average temperature in your area is between 50 and 60 degrees will usually deliver the best results.

Lakefront landscaping offers benefits such as enhancing aesthetic appeal, increasing property value, supporting ecological balance, and providing recreational opportunities while preserving the shoreline's natural beauty.
