V & V Land Management & Resource Recovery offers integrated land services, including:grading and excavating, forestry mulching, masonry and landscaping for Asheville, Knoxville, and surrounding areas.

"We have 16 acres of beautiful and hilly property that was a mix of fine hardwood trees, plus maple, white pine, dogwood, etc. of all different ages. It also was overrun with Virginia pine, unbelievable vines, wild roses, privet, poison ivy and all the rest. Carrie and her crew did a first class job maneuvering around the trees we wanted to save, and clearing out the rest. The truth is I couldn’t recommend them highly enough – good people, good workers, and good service !"

Land Surveying questions, answered by experts

Combining land surveying with other upgrades in Hendersonville can be efficient and practical. For instance, scheduling a property boundary survey before installing a fence or starting a landscaping project ensures accurate placement and helps avoid future disputes. Coordinating a site plan or topographic survey with major improvements can also streamline permitting and reduce project delays, making your upgrades more seamless and well-documented.

Helpful?

Schedule land surveying in Hendersonville if you notice unclear property lines, plan to build additions, or want to resolve encroachment concerns. It’s also wise before selling, subdividing, or updating your site plan. If property markers are missing or you’re unsure about boundary locations, a timely survey can prevent legal issues and support accurate records for future transactions or improvements.

Helpful?

For land surveying in Hendersonville, keep items like flagging tape, a long measuring tape, and hand pruners to help clear and mark property boundaries. A metal detector can assist in locating hidden survey markers. Maintain organized records of your deed, previous plat maps, and site plans, and take photos of boundary points. Never disturb existing survey markers, as this is not permitted in NC.

Helpful?

When hiring a land surveyor in Hendersonville, prioritize professionals with experience in local property boundaries and site plans, especially for mountain or historic lots. Confirm they use advanced tools like GPS or digital mapping and carry proper insurance. Request references from recent projects in the area and ensure their survey reports are clear and comprehensive. Avoid surveyors lacking local expertise or transparent communication.

Helpful?

In Hendersonville, the accuracy and longevity of land surveying depend on using up-to-date equipment, placing durable survey markers, and creating thorough documentation like plat maps. Local terrain, such as slopes and wooded areas, requires tailored surveying methods. Ensuring your surveyor is familiar with regional property lines and follows NC regulations helps your survey results remain reliable and legally valid for future property needs.
