"The work was done at my house and he did the driveway and a pad in the back yard. The work was outstanding and Mr. Golden explained was he was going to do and also said that he would be back to look at the work area and to let the concrete cure for 5 days before driving on the addition of the driveway and also the concrete pad in the back yard."

My name is Sandra Parada, and I wanted to introduce Coastal Build Concrete & Siding. The company is run by my father and husband, both of whom have many years of hands-on experience in concrete and siding work.\n\nIf you ever need reliable subcontractors for services like driveways, patios, foundations, slabs, or siding (vinyl or fiber cement), I’d really appreciate the opportunity to connect and be considered for future projects. You can put us to the test we’d love the chance to show our quality.

"The experience went very well. Very professional. Punctual and kind. I believe his name was Alberto, my appointment was at 9 they called at 830 and asked if he could come about 845. Showed up was kind and courteous. He did a basketball ball court for my boys. Told me to stay clear for a couple days and he came out and took the ropes off and it was all good to go. So thank you I am a very pleased person. If anyone needs concrete work done I would say to hire AH concrete. Very reasonable pricing as well."

"Exelente!!! Dough is an excellent guy to work with. The workmanship and detail he put on rebuilding and remodeling my home was A+!!! He recently pour a concrete driveway at my daughter’s house as well as a gravel driveway to my second daughter and they are very happy with the results. If you are not happy with the results he will do his best to remedy anything and make people happy. Doug always told me “ I will do whatever it needs to be done to make you happy”. Doug is also very fair an honest. I highly recommend him as the owner of NC Elite Co. for your future projects. AND, Yes I will rehire him again?"

Concrete Driveways questions, answered by experts

Concrete does well with a number of cleaning agents, as it’s a durable material. Choose from acidic cleaners, alkaline cleaners, and pH-neutral cleaners, in addition to antibacterial solutions. Your best bet is to simply read the fine print with your preferred detergent and make sure it mentions concrete as a viable surface.

You can certainly utilize a pressure washer to effectively clean your garage floor. If you're dealing with oily residue, consider adding a degreaser to the pressure washer solution. Prior to using the pressure washer, make sure to thoroughly sweep the garage floor to eliminate any loose dirt or debris.

Begin the pressure washing process from the back of your garage, which is closest to your home, and work your way towards the front. This ensures that the water and dirt are directed outside. In case you've applied a cleanser or degreaser, it's a good idea to give the floor another pass with clean water using the pressure washer to ensure a thorough rinse.

Whether you need to winterize your pressure washer depends on where you store it. If you can keep it in a relatively warm place with no risk of freezing, you won't need to add antifreeze. However, if the machine will be stored in freezing temperatures, any liquid left in the water pump can freeze, expand, and cause severe damage. To prevent this, add antifreeze to keep it in good condition. While some suggest emptying the machine with compressed air, this can be a tedious process that may not fully drain the liquid. Regardless of storage conditions, it is also good practice to empty the gas chamber and refresh the oil before winter storage.

No. In spite of its identical chemical makeup, sodium bicarbonate manufactured for blasting purposes has a particular type and size of particles that differs from grocery store baking soda. In addition, this method would not be cost effective because you would need several boxes of baking soda to equal one blast-sized bag of medium.

Since freeze-thaw cycles throughout the winter months can damage your driveway, it's best to winterize your driveway in the late fall before the first freeze hits. Doing so will help to protect your driveway from damage throughout the winter season. Plus, drier, warmer weather makes applying and curing sealant much easier.
