"Liberty Tint Solutions did window tinting at my residence and also for my automobile windows. They do a great job at reasonable price. It was a great value for the money. I have had no problems at all and would highly recommend Liberty."

"The installers were great. The salesperson made promises that he did not keep and he missed a window. When the person came to measure he also didn’t catch that I was having all my windows done except one. The windows look great. The response when I notified the co that one window was missed was very fast but added to my cost."

"Glenn installed a sliding glass door and a new deck. The price was right and the quality of work excellent. We are not happy unless things are done right the first time and they were. We plan doing business with Glenn again. He is very professional and friendly, and always on time. One day he was working outside in the rain. Not all people will do that."

"Drastic improvement compared to my crawlspace previously. Workers seemed rushed during install and it was difficult to schedule team to come back and make final corrections to pass inspection. Sales person never responded to any requests for assistance after job was booked."

Windows questions, answered by experts

The gas between window panes, typically argon or krypton, acts as a barrier to heat transfer. This means it helps keep your home warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer by preventing heat from passing through the glass. This gas layer also reduces condensation by stabilizing the temperature across the window and helps minimize noise. Essentially, it’s all about improving energy efficiency and comfort while lowering those utility bills.

The primary benefits of an egress window include providing a safe emergency exit, increasing natural light in a space like a basement, and improving ventilation. Additionally, installing an egress window can often increase your property's value.

The biggest disadvantages of low-E windows have to do with cost and, depending on your personal taste, appearance. Low-E windows cost more than traditional windows—typically between $300 and $1,000 per window, plus installation costs. Though they can save you money in the long run, low-E windows have a hefty upfront price tag. Additionally, low-E windows have a slightly different look than traditional windows. While some people don’t notice it, others say the low-E coating gives windows a hazy look.

If your windows are drafty, fogging up between panes, or hard to open or close, it might be time for a replacement. Unexplained increases in your energy bills, rotting frames, broken seals, and noticeable noise from outside can also indicate it’s time for new windows. In addition, if you find yourself frequently needing to repair your windows, it’s probably more cost-effective in the long run to replace them.

If you don't have hurricane shutters or impact-resistant windows, boarding up windows before a hurricane is worth it. According to the Federal Alliance for Safe Homes, protection is essential for all your home's entry points, including windows, doors, skylights, and garage doors.

When windows break, wind enters your home, creating enough pressure that could cause the weakest part of your to rupture. Often, the weakest part is the roof, which can "pop" off of a home in a hurricane. The simple act of boarding up your windows can protect the structural integrity of your house.
