"Mykol and his team were fantastic to work with. It was only a few days from the day they came to give us the initial estimate to the day they did the work. Their price was very affordable, and everything they did was really well done. We needed some drainage problems fixed in the front yard and some ground cleared in the back for gardening, and they took care of everything in one day. They asked me how I wanted everything done, made suggestions for things I hadn’t thought of, and everything came out great. We are very pleased and are already planning other projects that we’d like them to do for us!"

"I recently moved into a new home and couldn’t have gotten settled without Jordan’s help. He has assembled furniture, hung pictures and mirrors, hung curtains, installed childproofing. I’m sure I am leaving many things out, but believe me he’s been great! He arrives when he says he’ll arrive, and gets started on your list of items right away. He is ethical and makes sure to get things done correctly. I really can’t recommend him enough."

"Matt is very knowledgeable, personable, honest and works quickly. He will let you know what needs to be done and what that will cost upfront depending on the project and any additional costs if the project changes. 10/10 would recommend."

Pool Table Assembly questions, answered by experts

No, shock and chlorine are not the same thing, though they are related and both are used for pool maintenance. Regular chlorine, often in the form of tablets, is a sanitizer used for routine, day-to-day maintenance to keep a steady chlorine level. Pool shock, however, is a highly concentrated dose of chlorine used periodically for a more intense cleaning. It rapidly raises chlorine levels to fix issues like cloudy water or algae growth and also eliminates chloramines, which are byproducts of regular chlorination. Because their purposes and concentrations differ, they are not interchangeable, and proper pool care typically requires using both.

Customization options may include different pool shapes, sizes, decks, and additional accessories like ladders or pool lights.

If you frequently use your swimming pool, an annual inspection is ideal. For pools over 20 years old, get an inspection twice a year. If you have a new pool, are selling your house, or your property went through a severe weather event, schedule a pool inspection as soon as possible.

The formula you’ll use to measure your pool will differ based on the shape of your pool. For a rectangular pool, you’ll use the following formula to find the size in gallons: length x width x depth x 7.5. If the depth changes from one end of your pool to the other, take the average by finding the depth at the deepest and most shallow points and dividing that number by two. Circular and oval pools require different, more complicated formulas, which can be found in this article.

How long a pool liner lasts depends on the type of pool. Most in-ground pool liners last between six and 12 years, while aboveground pool liners last anywhere from six to 10 years. You can extend the life of your pool liner by maintaining proper pool chemistry, adding chemicals individually to avoid staining the liner, using a pool cover to protect it from the sun, and keeping sharp objects away from it.
