"Most of what we do is full tear-out and replacement. We remove the old cracked, settling, or spalling concrete, rebuild the base the right way, and pour new. We also handle driveway extensions and widening, aprons and curb cuts, stamped and decorative concrete, and concrete repair.\n\nOur crews have poured more than 38,000 residential concrete projects. Every job gets a dedicated project coordinator, up-front pricing with no surprise change orders, and a final walkthrough before we call it finished. Licensed and insured.\n\nNeed a new driveway? "David and his crew replaced my front slate/river rock walkway with beautiful, wood-looking stamped concrete, far exceeding what I had anticipated. A group of 5-6 skilled professionals produced a flawless, solid foot path that an Orlando friend of mine noted, “You brought the beach to Asheville,” (I had lived beachside in FL, and to my delight it does look a bit like a beach crossover). David refers to himself as a ‘concrete nerd’. I don’t think I’ve ever met one, but this term should serve as well-deserved flattery that he and his workers can enjoy. They’re a superior group with a superior company. Presently, I’m in the process of booking them for another home improvement project."

"ZR Landscaping transformed the mud pit that was our backyard into a beautiful patio with new landscaping and a retaining wall. The team showed up regularly and worked extremely hard each day to finish within two weeks. Communication and customer service were excellent throughout the entire process and the team left our yard and driveway clean afterwards."

"The estimater responded to my enquiry quickly and scheduled the site review and estimate promptly. The estimate was provided very quickly and was highly competitive. Setting up the contract and down payment was smooth and efficient and the project was scheduled. Unfortunately, it rained a lot which complicated schedule, project work and inspections. However, weather, timing and execution finally aligned and the project was completed very satisfactory. Copies of completed slab and footers attached. Also the slab is perfectly level (pictures) as shown. So are the shed footers and foundation."

Customers say: Quality work

"I contacted Jose for a quote to remove my existing concrete patio slab and installing Techno Bloc pavers in my patio area, and I am thrilled with my experience from beginning to end,. Jose was wonderful to work with, and his team did an impressive job with my patio, It looks gorgeous! They showed up promptly at 8am each day, and the work they did was of the highest quality and exceeded my expectations. His team also planted a number of 8 ft shrubs for me, and they did a beautiful job with those as well. I already passed Jose information along to friends who are looking for patio work, and I highly recommend him for any work! The cost of my project was very reasonable, way better than other quotes I received from other companies, and the quality of the work his crew did, is outstanding!"

"Rene, the owner of Mateoâ s has been working at my residence for over eight years. He and his men have put in rock retaining walls, tiered rock wall gardens, stone stairs, railroad tie and rock stairs, a full concrete driveway, and put in landscape plants and done lawn care as well as take care of drainage issues. They are meticulous, hardworking, honest, and have an exceptional eye for placement of rock or plants. Iâ ve referred them to so many homeowners who have also referred them. Everybody is happy."

Concrete Driveways questions, answered by experts

Yes, you can pressure wash epoxy floors, but you must take precautions to avoid damaging the surface. While most epoxy floors can be cleaned with a mop, you might choose to pressure wash if the floor is stained, has ground-in dirt, or is covered with mold or mildew. To do so safely, first soak any stains or dirty areas with a gentle cleanser. Use a lower pressure setting with a gentle nozzle, such as a green, white, or black tip, or a 45-degree angled tip. Keep the spray nozzle at least 18 inches away from the floor to protect the surface. Using a surface cleaner attachment or a rotary scrubber can also help prevent overspray. Be cautious if using a power washer that heats the water, as the combination of heat and pressure may be too powerful and could damage the epoxy coating.

Yes, pressure washers can remove rust stains from concrete. However, when coupled with an acid treatment, they can be even more effective. Just be sure to use a minimum of a 15-degree nozzle to prevent damage to the surface, and users must also be careful not to get in the way of the pressure washer’s jet as they can cut through skin and cause injury.

Since freeze-thaw cycles throughout the winter months can damage your driveway, it's best to winterize your driveway in the late fall before the first freeze hits. Doing so will help to protect your driveway from damage throughout the winter season. Plus, drier, warmer weather makes applying and curing sealant much easier.

It is generally not recommended to use dish soap in a pressure washer. Dishwashing liquid is formulated for cooler water, and the warmer water used in a pressure washer can create excessive suds, potentially damaging the machine's tubing and other components. Always check the manufacturer’s instructions for recommended detergents. If you find yourself in a pinch, you can try a highly diluted solution, such as one tablespoon of dish soap per 1.5 quarts of water, to avoid clogging the machine.

Does the water in your taps sometimes come out very slowly? If so, you might have problems with low water pressure in your house, and your pressure washer won’t effectively clean. To test if your water pressure is sufficient, time how long it takes for the water from your hose to fill a 5-gallon bucket. Usually, if it takes less than two minutes, you’re good to go.
