"The word for this company is EXCELLENT!! I called one morning and they were out the same day. I needed new outside lights installed and the word for the technicians is EXCELLENT! Christian Perry and Matt installed the lights and explained the process to me as they went. They went above and beyond, going 2 miles up the road with me to help choose the correct lights because I wanted to switch to automatic lights. They had to enlarge the present holes with a jigsaw to accommodate the new lights and installed them perfectly. these guys were personable, knowledgeable and downright awesome. They also did a safety check. I will definitely use Mr. Sparky again."

"Clive and Tracie were wonderful to work with! Nicest people you'll meet. Their team is very talented, polite and hard-working. We knew we wanted a patio and firepit but didn't have specific details in mind. In our initial meeting with Clive, he took the time to "interview" us to understand our tastes and needs. He put together a couple of designs that addressed all of our needs. Clive was very patient with us as we settled on the design that was right for us. Not only is the patio and fireplace beautiful, he included landscaping that provides shade and privacy, a dedicated space for our trampoline that balances our yard and lighting that looks fantastic at night. Clive goes the extra mile to please his customers. As the project was wrapping up, he called me from the nursery to ask what my wife's favorite color/ flower was so he could include them in the landscaping. Nice touch! I was pleasantly surprised when the job was complete, his team came out and pressure washed the back of the house near the area they worked. They also re-seeded the lawn on the path the heavy machinery traveled to the backyard. After the job was complete, I called Clive about one minor issue and he had his team came out the same day to make the correction. I would most definitely recommend Outdoor Artisan. It was a great experience. You may find cheaper, but not for this quality and level of service."

"I contacted Nick @ Intrinity Landscaping who within a day came out to assess our yard and provide a quote. This was a new home and our yard consisted of mostly clay soil. Nick explained the process that he and his team goes through with the sod installation. Nick provided me with an estimate & I immediately took to the web to check his Angie's List & NC BBB ratings. All were positive & upon evaluating the prep work he does to the yard & the price-per-square-foot he quoted I hired Nick for the job. I couldn't be happier with Nick & his team. It was mid-August & Nick suggested that if we could we should wait until early fall to install the sod in order to avoid the late summer heat that would give our grass the best chance to grow. We agreed to wait until mid-September. As I mentioned earlier this was a new home & we were trying to get our Certificate of Occupancy so we could move in. Nick took it upon himself to spread straw on our lawn to satisfy our CO requirements so we could move in.
Nick & his crew began prepping our yard the second week of September. I was amazed by the care his crew took to get the dirt at the grade levels and 'stitching' the pallets of sod together so it all looks uniform. It took about three days to get everything done. One of those days his crew literally worked from dawn to dusk to get our backyard done. Upon completion Nick said we would need to water our yard twice a day, everyday for two weeks to get the grass to take to the soil. He finished on a Friday so the first time our inground irrigation system would run would be that Saturday. The irrigation crew, not part of Intrinity, assured me the system was ready to run. That next day some of the sprinkler heads weren't popping up the way they should and one of the heads had completely broken off leaving water gushing into the street. I couldn't get a hold of the irrigation folks but I tried Nick and he came by within the hour on Saturday. He did what he could but it meant a lot to me that he came out on a Saturday to try to address a problem that wasn't his. I've found Nick to be both honest & fair throughout the process. I don't think you'll find a better price for the quality and attention to detail that Nick & his crew observe when installing sod in your yard. Highly recommended!!

"4th Generation Landscaping did a phenomenal job removing a lot of unwanted ivy and cutting back overgrown areas in my yard. Not only did they do great work, but they did it the old fashioned way to make sure it was taken care of permanently and safely. Everything from the initial estimate to the actual work was done with the upmost professionalism, timely, and exceptional results. The crew worked from sun ip to sun down and kept me posted on the progress they were taking as did Dave (owner) who made sure things were completed not only up to my expectations but his as well. I will definitely hire these guys again for any landscaping projects and can’t recommend them enough!"

"We were given Owen's name and number by a neighbor. We bought a new home with beautiful landscaping and being novices wanted to find someone who could advise us and help us to maintain it. He walked our entire property with us, answering questions about the various plantings we had and educated us on why some of our shrubs and trees were not thriving. He recommended bushes that would be better suited for our needs. We hired him to dig up and haul off the old and plant the new. We also asked him to prune everything that had become overgrown. "We had the pleasure of working with Outdoor Contracting over the past year on our landscape project. Our project was very complex and required someone who could help us consult, design and implement a custom project and Bill and his team were a perfect fit and up to the task. Adding to the complexity, Outdoor Contracting had to pick up the pieces from a failed attempt by our previous landscape designer making the project even more complex. If you have a complex project which no other contractor will touch, then Outdoor Contracting is right for you. The project consisted of designing an enclosure for our back yard which included custom concrete form walls, custom aluminum fencing, pedestrian gates, a cantilevered driveway gate, stepping stones, and beach pebbles. In addition, we had extensive lighting installation, irrigation, grading and sod installation, drainage remediation, electrical work, and installation of unique and unusual trees, shrubs, and plants. Bill and his team were very professional and spent countless hours over the past year ensuring that every detail was addressed since everything was tied together. They were methodical in their approach ensuring that each step in the process was thoroughly implemented before moving on to the next step. Bill even goes out of his was to install additional electrical, irrigation, and drainage conduits to ensure you are future proofed in case you want to expand the project in the future. I have never met a contractor that goes above and beyond in this manner.
