"I recently used this tile service for my home renovation, and I must say, I am beyond impressed with the quality and affordability they provided. The team was professional, efficient, and the end result exceeded my expectations. Not only did they offer a wide selection of tiles to choose from, but their prices were incredibly reasonable. I highly recommend this tile service to anyone looking for top-notch quality at an affordable price!"

"The project went great- we ended up getting tile and hardwood installed by Ed and his gang. They fit us into their schedule quickly and got the entire job done in one weekend. They were helpful and helped us move our fridge/stove in the kitchen. They tore up the carpet in the living room/dining room and installed pergo laminate hardwood flooring- we love it. They also tore up the vinyl linoleum in our kitchen/bathroom and laid down porcelain tile. It looks great! They worked very hard over the weekend to get it all done. On top of the great service, their price was about 1/3 of the other labor estimates we received."

Backsplash Installation questions, answered by experts

No, tiling over painted walls or wallpapered surfaces is generally not recommended. Textured surfaces and paints will affect the adhesive, possibly causing tiles to lift or fall off. Painted walls with a semi-gloss or high-gloss finish are particularly difficult for adding tiles. It’s wise to strip the paint first if you install the tiles to drywall, although it’s still best to opt for a cement backer board.

The tile trim you use will depend on a few factors, including design preferences, budget, and whether the project is DIY or not. You might choose plastic trim if you want an easier DIY job that is more budget-friendly. There are also more color options available in plastic. On the other hand, you might choose metal to match your fixtures or for areas with heavy use.

Natural stone tiles are durable, heat-resistant, and add timeless elegance to floors, walls, and countertops.

Penny tile should be sealed to protect the grout from moisture and keep stains from damaging the look of the tile. If penny tile is in a humid or high-traffic area, like a bathroom, kitchen, or entryway, it needs sealant. Any type of tile and grout is best maintained with a sealant reapplied by a pro every one to two years.

The best types of tiles for a shower are ceramic and porcelain tiles. These materials are durable, water-resistant, and easy to maintain, making them ideal for wet environments. Porcelain tiles are slightly more durable than ceramic. Both options come in a wide variety of styles, so you can achieve the perfect look for your bathroom.
