Mart Gordon 336-362-5548 Jeff Slaughter 336-613-6141 We saved a lot by removing all appliances and old cabinets ourselves. We took care of the plumbing for the kitchen sink, refrigerator water/ice maker and dishwasher. June 13, 2013: remodeling specialists arrived on time and installed subfloor to cover existing floor that was 30 years old. They used carpet adhesive on the subfloor prior to laying the vinyl down. All corners and edges were PERFECT! My husband and I are extremely pleased with our new floor!!! Labor charge for floor: $418.60 The specialists were extremely nice and explained in detail what they were going to do step by step. We highly recommend Immaculate Builders for any type of custom building and renovations. They design/build/restore and are licensed general contractor & remodeling specialists.
June 20, 2013: remodeling specialists arrived on time and began work right away. Very friendly guys. They installed the cabinets. We are had Denver Hickory cabinets installed which are so beautiful. They built a base (raised level with bottom of sink cabinet) for corner dead space for pan storage. They put crown molding on top of the cabinets which looks real good. Labor charge for cabinets installation: $617.57. We are pleased with our new cabinets, they look great. We recommend Immaculate Builder's for any type of remodeling/restoring/designing.

This was a new construction and Mr. Partin s proposal was accepted. The initial (rough in) phase appeared to go smoothly and Mr. Partin was paid $10917.42 for this work. Subsequently, Mr. Partin was required to reorient multiple valves and two drain stubs that were inaccurately placed in the master bathroom. This remedial work was performed by Mr. Partin, but not in a timely manner which delayed other work. In April 2008, Mr. Partin was contacted regarding completion of the project by May 1st, 2008. Mr. Partin arrived at the job site, placed a whirlpool tub in the middle of the bathroom floor, began fitting a drain, and left. Mr. Partin then sent his son to the house to finish the work, but he was unable to do so and cited a desire to let his father undertake the more complicated installations. ClearWater Plumbing was again contacted regarding completion of the project and corrective work. Dates to begin work were proposed by Clear Water. However no one showed up on those days and no explanation was given. ClearWater was again contacted in writing (May 1st, 2008) in order to determine if they would be able to finish the job. Subsequent phone conversations indicated that they would complete work during the first week of May. ClearWater was again contacted on May 7th at which time they indicated that all work discussed would be completed that afternoon. When we expressed reservations about completing a multiple day job in one afternoon, we were told to not say anything more. They were reminded about the remedial work and we were again told they would complete the job that afternoon. In approximately 10 minutes ClearWater Plumbing called back and told us to find another plumber. Subsequently, ClearWater Plumbing called building inspections and requested a plumbing inspection despite knowing that the job was not complete. They also indicated falsely to the inspections department that we had moved into the house prior to having a Certificate of Occupancy. Inspection confirmed that the plumbing was incomplete and that the dwelling was not occupied. We feel that this was quite simply an unprofessional retaliatory act on their part. Review of the work performed by ClearWater has found numerous defects including hot water feeding a toilet, hot and cold water lines crossed, missing parts, vent pipes exhausting sewer gas into the attic spaces and the owner purchased plumbing items in disarray or thrown in the trash. Despite this we have been billed by ClearWater for an additional $6129.06 despite having a written agreement that this payment was due at completion of the work. In addition to billing for uncompleted work on a job that ClearWater abandoned, this invoice also includes items that were not installed in the house. Needless to say we are mortified at the poor quality of the work done by ClearWater Plumbing."},"url":"https://www.angi.com/companylist/us/nc/pittsboro/clear-water-plumbing-reviews-287149.htm"},"position":8},{"@type":"ListItem","item":{"@type":"LocalBusiness","name":"Carolina Appliance Service","address":{"@type":"PostalAddress","addressRegion":"NC","addressCountry":"US"},"review":{"@type":"Review","author":{"@type":"Person","name":"CAROLYN H."},"reviewBody":"WHEN HE WAS DONE WITH THE REPAIR, HE TESTED THE MACHINE TO BE SURE IT WAS WORKING PROPERLY. A nightmare. We were given a timeline of 3 days. We left and when we returned, ductwork not complete. The two technicians did a horrible job. Broke our water lines twice. We had to live in our backyard in our RV. They finally claimed ductwork job complete on the 9th day. We were so...

SHOWER We highly recommend Re-Bath of the Triad. We did some homework before selecting the firm for the installation. We selected Re-Bath. They replaced our old fiberglass shower with a new Durabath shower. It is convenient, safe, and easy to use. It is also easy to clean. In fact, it almost...
The staff at Hillsdale is also very good They require more test, blood work and urine, and fecal samples every time you come. They're more thorough but they're costlier because they want all these things. The only reason I took them there is because I have a cat that I thought was feral and...

"Lesson learned. Always get an estimate. BEFORE the work is done. At least a digital copy. Arrangements for the project were made, with some one named Lynn, for the company to send someone to complete the work. We were quoted over the phone 4500-5000 which included a mold test. A sub contractor with an entirely different company (National Mold Company) was sent. When the contractor arrived, he stated that the job would be much more simpler than first thought. This led us to believe that the job would cost less, no. All said and done, they charged $5500. All said and done, it's almost like no work was done. The stains and the smell are still there. Only one actual board was taken upon the attic room. The ceiling in the bedroom was primed and painted but are still visible and have a funky smell. At this point I'm going to. Do what we should have done; Do the job ourselves. Just now with $5500 less dollars in our pockets. A detailed receipt was not given even though it was requested."

When you have mold, making the correct decisions right away is critical. Whether it is mold in your home, school, place of work, or apartment there are many factors to consider. Are you going to be involved in a mold lawsuit? Will you be seeking property damages? Is anyone sick from mold exposure? Will you be seeking medical damages? Will you need expert witnesses? If so, what kind? Do you just want to test to be sure your environment is safe? Do you need post mold remediation testing to ensure a good job was done? These and other factors are questions which need to be answered before any environmental testing starts. It is important to know what your goals are and why your testing. Different goals require different environmental tests, i.e. medical damages and property damages require different environmental tests to prove your case in court. Tests that a common, or inexperienced, mold inspector would not typically use or know to use.

"They came rather quicklyâ ¦. Worked under the house when it was raining and pouring outside and finished the job in one day. The price they quoted was a fraction of the cost than 2 other companies I had got quotes from. Aaron was always courteous and answered any questions I had. They are not going to do unnecessary work and will not break the bank. I highly recommend and would hire them again"

FAQs for mold testing and remediation projects in Broadway, NC
Some states require mold removal specialists to be licensed, while others require licensed mold testing companies to create remediation protocols that any contractor can carry out. You can use our state licensing tool to find requirements in your area. In either case, it’s imperative that you hire an experienced professional for mold removal to ensure the safety of your home and your family.
It’s possible to scrub mold off of visible surfaces yourself, but it’s not usually a good idea. Mold is not only a potential health risk, but it’s also difficult to treat in its entirety, especially because it can grow behind walls and in other hidden areas a DIYer might miss. Since mold is a serious and often pervasive issue, you should hire a professional that will remove all of the mold—including any that might be hidden—run industrial air scrubbers to remove airborne particles, and complete mold testing to ensure the underlying problem is solved.
The most effective way to remove mold includes testing affected surfaces and the air for spores, creating a protocol for removal, carrying out the steps within the protocol, running air scrubbers for the recommended amount of time, and then completing a post-remediation round of testing to confirm the issue is solved. Since this work is very involved and there are health risks if done incorrectly, you should always hire an experienced professional to handle mold removal.
The average cost for mold remediation is around $2,200, and most projects fall somewhere between $1,100 and $3,300. Your total will depend on many factors, including the surface area that is affected by mold, the extent of the issue, how much building material your professional needs to replace, whether or not testing is necessary for safety reasons, and existing indoor air quality.
Mold removal will take between one and five days in most cases, but severe mold issues can take several weeks to correct. Your timeline will depend on how much mold there is in your home, where the mold is located, and how much testing and aftercare is required. If you have mold behind your walls or you have an excessive amount of mold that requires removal and running air scrubbers for several days, you could be looking at over a week for the process to be completed.
